Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Gabi Hernandez (Camila Banus) will soon be in for some tough times. As DOOL viewers know, she’s been in control of Julie Williams’ (Susan Seaforth Hayes) pacemaker for well over a year now, and the whole time Lani Price (Sal Stowers) has been afraid that if she makes one wrong move, then Gabi will kill Julie with the push of a button.
Well, upcoming DOOL spoilers indicate that Gabi’s world is about to explode. Her Valentine’s Day wedding to Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) is rapidly approaching, and she’s planning for it to be the final insult to Lani.
Gabi has manipulated Lani for a very long time, and marrying Eli will be the final step in her plan to get back at Lani for shooting and killing Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) in the line of duty.
But according to Days of Our Lives spoilers, Gabi’s wedding to Eli isn’t going to go so smoothly. Lani will be on the scene, lurking around as the wedding gets underway, and it looks like she’ll have some plan to set in motion.
Lani won’t want to let Gabi get this “win” by marrying Eli, and she’ll end up crashing the wedding, which will result in chaos. From there, things will happen in rapid succession. After Gabi’s wedding disaster, Julie will end up collapsing, and Gabi will be forced into making a big admission.
This will all result in Gabi getting arrested and facing some serious consequences down the road. It looks like she’ll be totally busted for sabotaging Julie’s pacemaker.
And at that point, Gabi will have really burned her bridges. Really, Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) will probably be the only friend she’s got left at that point, and she’ll be facing time away from her daughter once again and possibly prison. It will be a a mess, and one wonders how Gabi will get through it all.
Well, Days buzz says Gabi will eventually get a much-needed rescue from her presumed-dead husband, Stefan. Sure, Stefan was thought to have died, but given that Dr. Wilhelm Rolf (William Utay) could have worked his magic somehow, it’s always possible the Stefan survived.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say that Brandon Barash will be returning to the show this spring, perhaps Stefan will come back and be able to deal with Gabi and her troubles.
As DOOL viewers will remember, Stefan and Gabi had a strong bond, and he’ll surely be in her corner, no matter what she’s done or who she’s hurt. He may even understand her need to avenge his death and make Lani pay the price for shooting him.
It would be pretty amazing if Stefan were to swoop back into Salem just in time to help Gabi with her legal troubles and/or get her out of jail.
We’ll see what happens here, but Gabi’s going to need some real help and support as spring approaches.
