Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) is standing by his son, Tripp Dalton (Lucas Adams), but there’s a big hurdle to tackle. How can Steve prove that Tripp is telling the truth?
Tripp insists he never slept with Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) and can’t be the father of her baby, but there’s no denying that Tripp shares DNA with Henry Horton (Jayna and Kinsley Fox).
DOOL has laid the groundwork for the real rapist to be a relative of Tripp’s, but that may not be the right angle for Steve to work. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Steve has no leads at this point. All Steve knows is that multiple DNA test results make Tripp look guilty, but Tripp maintains that he’s innocent.
However, Steve is a private investigator who’s used to cracking cases. The reasonable thing to do would be to catch a flight to London and do some digging.
Perhaps Steve should retrace Tripp and Allie’s steps that night. It wouldn’t hurt to visit the club in London along with Allie’s old apartment building. Maybe someone saw or heard something suspicious.
After all, somebody had to have come along to attack Allie after Tripp left. There’s just no other option if Tripp’s innocent – and Days writers have made it obvious he is. Allie wound up pregnant by someone that night, so Steve has to figure out who that someone is.
It’d be a good idea to see if maybe the club bartender’s still around. Steve could also talk to Allie’s former landlord and neighbors. Any piece of information could be helpful as Steve works to solve the mystery.
In the past, Steve’s never been the kind of guy to sit around and do nothing. If there’s info to be found elsewhere, Steve always goes off on a mission to find it. He leaves no stone unturned and is often willing to travel the world.
Will Steve head to London soon as part of his investigation? Will Steve find some clue there about Allie’s true attacker – or at least something that points to Tripp’s innocence?
Charlie Dale (Mike Manning) may be exposed as the culprit down the road, but it’d be great to see Steve search for answers and try to connect the dots.
