Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that two major characters will return to Salem during the week of July 27-31. DOOL viewers will recall that Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) and Kayla Brady (Mary Beth Evans) decided to take an impulsive trip together. Kayla wound up at a crummy motel with Steve, but that didn’t really matter.
The point of this trip was to reconnect and take a break from all the Salem drama. Luckily, Steve and Kayla were able to accomplish both goals. Days fans saw “Stayla” get their relationship back on track – and they’ve continued to work on things off screen.
The rest of Kayla and Steve’s trip has undoubtedly brought them even closer. What’s next for Kayla and Steve once they’re back on canvas? For starters, Kayla’s got some baby drama to contend with at the hospital!
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) will go into labor next week, so Kayla will likely take charge and bark orders. As for Steve, he’s bound to have a run-in with Bonnie Lockhart (Judi Evans) soon enough.
Like Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth) and Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford), Steve may believe he’s staring at Adrienne Kiriakis (Judi Evans) at first. Bonnie may once again have to declare that she’s Bonnie, not Adrienne as everyone assumes.
Of course, that’ll give Jack and Steve plenty to talk about in upcoming episodes. Steve may also want to thank Jack for all the support he offered throughout his romantic crisis.
Jack can be a real pain sometimes, but he’s a lovable one – and he’s always got Steve’s back. Now that Steve and Kayla are a couple again, Jack will hope they can make it last this time.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Jack will continue to fret over Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) and her recovery, so maybe it’ll be Steve’s turn to support Jack soon. There’s also the matter of who the father of Allie’s baby is.
Since there’s been some DOOL buzz about Steve’s son, Tripp Dalton (Lucas Adams), as the possible “baby daddy,” that could certainly shake things up for potential Grandpa Steve!
