Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Thursday, October 15, reveal that Belle Black (Martha Madison) demanded to know why Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) had changed her plea to guilty. Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) lied and said that Kristen wanted to take responsibility for what she did so that Rachel Black could be proud of her one day.
After Belle left the interrogation room, Kristen thanked Brady for lying and protecting Lani Price-Grant (Sal Stowers) from Melinda Trask’s (Tina Huang) wrath.
Brady lamented that Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) and Lani were going to get their happy ending, but he and Kristen and Rachel wouldn’t. Kristen apologized for screwing things up, and soon Belle returned saying that she was about to meet in chambers with the judge and Melinda, and that she’d be back with news about Kristen’s case.
Brady then turned to Kristen and said that they needed to get Rachel and go on the run again. Kristen refused, and they decided to leave and at least spend some quality time with Rachel. Belle returned, saying that the judge accepted Kristen’s plea and that Kristen would be going into custody immediately to await the judge’s sentencing.
At Nicole Brady’s (Arianne Zucker) apartment, Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) woke up late and took off to see John Black (Drake Hogestyn) at the hospital without seeing her baby. Allie passed Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo) on the way out, but she didn’t stop to talk to Lucas at all.
Lucas pressed Nicole for answers about what was going on with Allie, and Nicole stalled a bit, then told Lucas gently about Allie’s rape. Lucas was horrified and he immediately broke down.
Lucas then got angry and wanted to know who the assailant was. Nicole explained that it was Tripp Dalton (Lucas Adams), and about how the rape happened. Then Lucas put two and two together and realized that the baby was the product of the rape.
Lucas again broke down, then he said he was going to find Tripp and kill him. Lucas thanked Nicole for being there for Allie.
At Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) and Kayla Brady’s (Mary Beth Evans) place, Tripp arrived home after sitting by the lake all night. Tripp disclosed that he went to see Allie, which Steve thought was a horrible idea. Tripp lamented that he’d never rape anyone, and Steve clearly believed him while Kayla seemed torn.
Soon, Kayla got called to the hospital, and Tripp wailed that Kayla didn’t believe him. Steve pledged to be on Tripp’s side. Steve thought that Tripp should go over the details of that night with him again, and Tripp did, although on this retelling he disclosed that Allie wasn’t wearing her dress when he put her to bed.
Tripp said that Allie took off her own dress, and Steve blasted Tripp for omitting that detail the last time.
Steve thought that Tripp should write down everything that happened, just in case he remembered something new that might help his case. Tripp started writing, and he said that no one was going to believe him when word got out.
At the hospital, Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) walked into John’s room as John was crying over an article about Kristen possibly going to prison. Marlena chalked up John’s emotions to his aneurysm.
Soon, Allie came in to see John, and he and Marlena wanted to see photos of the baby. Allie then told John and Marlena about the rape off-screen, and John got seriously angry that Steve’s son would do this to Allie.
John blustered and banged things around, and Allie left the room upset. Marlena went after Allie and stopped her by the elevator. As Marlena and Allie were talking about the rape, Kayla walked up and Allie just assumed that Kayla would believe Tripp.
Kayla said that she was just trying to understand what happened, and Allie said that Tripp raped her and ran off upset.
Marlena thought that it must be difficult for Kayla, since she knew both people involved. Marlena and Kayla then went to John’s room to get him signed out of the hospital, but John was gone from his room. Marlena said that she had a bad feeling about this.
Back at Nicole’s apartment, Allie returned to find Lucas in tears. “She told you, didn’t she?” Allie said, referring to Nicole. Nicole apologized and said that Allie needed her dad right now.
Allie said that she wasn’t mad, and Nicole left the room. “Daddy, I’m so sorry,” Allie cried, causing Lucas to rush over and embrace his daughter. Lucas told Allie through tears that she shouldn’t be sorry because she didn’t do anything wrong and that it wasn’t her fault.
Lucas told Allie that everything was going to be ok, and Allie asked Lucas to believe her. “Of course, I believe you,” Lucas assured Allie. “You’re going to be fine. I promise.”
Back at Steve and Kayla’s place, John came to the door, and when he saw Tripp inside, he rushed in and decked Tripp. Tripp fell back, and Steve grabbed John to keep him from going after Tripp again.
