Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal there should be a huge shift in Tripp Dalton (Lucas Adams) and Allie Horton’s (Lindsay Arnold) relationship down the road. Right now, Allie hates Tripp’s guts – and he’s not too fond of her either!
Allie believes Tripp raped her, and there are multiple DNA test results to back that up.
However, Kayla Brady (Mary Beth Evans) insisted that Tripp and Henry Horton (Jayna and Kinsley Fox) “definitely share DNA,” which was an interesting way to put it.
Kayla feels like Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) is the only other person who could’ve produced this result, but she acknowledged that it obviously wasn’t Steve.
Of course, Kayla probably isn’t even thinking about the possibility that Tripp might have a fraternal twin, half-brother or something along those lines. That kind of twist is the norm on Days – and it seems to be where this hot plot is headed.
In the end, Allie should be right about the rape and wrong about who was behind it.
Whether Charlie Dale (Mike C. Manning) was the actual rapist or there’s another character who’s revealed as the culprit, Allie seems to be remembering it wrong.
Tripp has never strayed from his story that he didn’t sleep with Allie – even when he was alone in the cemetery with no one to put on a show for.
Tripp seems genuinely baffled, so his name should be cleared eventually. Once Allie realizes Tripp is innocent, she’s bound to be sorry for causing so much turmoil. Allie will feel guilty for acting like Tripp was a monster when it was someone else who deserved her outrage.
Nevertheless, rape is a terrible traumatic experience – and Tripp’s innocence won’t change the fact that she went through it. Allie mentioned how unusual it was that she couldn’t hold her liquor that night, so one of her drinks may have even been drugged.
It’s not Allie’s fault that someone took advantage of her when she was too out of it to make sense of her memories.
Days of Our Lives spoilers suggest the tension will ultimately lift between Allie and Tripp. Tripp should understand why Allie believed he was guilty under the circumstances. All signs pointed to Tripp’s culpability from Allie’s perspective, so he won’t be able to blame her.
That brings us to DOOL’s 55th anniversary cast photo, which features several teasers about new couples that are on the horizon. Lindsay Arnold and Lucas Adams were right next to each other in the pic – a telltale sign that Days of Our Lives is gearing up for Allie and Tripp’s romance.
Since Tripp is almost certainly innocent, there’s no reason Days can’t pursue “Tallie.” Maybe Tripp will even step up as a father figure to Henry and turn this into a sweet family unit. We’ll keep you in the loop as other DOOL news and updates emerge.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say it’ll be a long journey to get there, but it does seem likely that Tripp and Allie will fall in love. CDL’s where you want to be for scorching Days of Our Lives spoilers, updates and news, so stop by regularly.
