Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Tripp Dalton (Lucas Adams) will find his own way to say goodbye to Ciara Brady Weston (Victoria Konefal). Tripp obviously isn’t welcome at Ciara’s memorial service since Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) has accused him of rape.
The families are so intertwined in Salem that Tripp wouldn’t dare show his face.
However, Tripp really did love Ciara once upon a time. Although Tripp has always had his problems and flaws, that doesn’t mean he was ever some sort of unfeeling monster. Tripp cared about Ciara and was deeply saddened to hear about her death.
Days spoilers say Tripp will feel like he has to pay his respects somehow, so he’ll do it privately at the cemetery later. DOOL fans can expect Tripp to make an emotional speech as he visits Ciara’s grave.
Ciara was always someone Tripp connected with, but he may wonder what she’d think of him if she were still alive.
Tripp has vehemently denied assaulting Allie that night in London, but Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) is the only one who’s on his side. Of course, Tripp doesn’t know Steve’s on board with the DNA test Kayla Brady (Mary Beth Evans) has been carrying out behind his back.
That’s a shocker that’ll hit hard for Tripp later, but let’s get back to what Tripp will say at Ciara’s grave. On November 2, Days of Our Lives spoilers state that Tripp will share his innermost thoughts.
There presumably won’t be anyone else around, so Tripp will be able to pour his heart out and speak freely.
This is interesting because it could offer more insight into whether Tripp is truly innocent or guilty. We know that the DNA results will come back positive later during the week of November 2-6, but Tripp will insist they’re inaccurate.
Tripp will stand by his innocence – and all the behind-the-scenes hints point in the direction of innocence, too.
Consider this new clue from Days of Our Lives Head Writer Ron Carlivati, who gave an interview to SOD. “As for Allie, now that Tripp is denying what she believes is the truth, we are going to see that she is truly her mother’s daughter and there is a spitfire under there,” Carlivati said.
Notice that distinction Carlivati made. Carlivati could’ve just said Tripp was denying the truth, but he clarified that Tripp was denying what Allie BELIEVES is the truth. That implies Allie is mistaken due to muddled memories and a case of mistaken identity.
Naturally, that doesn’t mean Days will give away the end of the story through Tripp’s graveside comments. There’s a chance they’ll even make Tripp look guiltier by having him say cryptic things about mistakes and regrets.
Nevertheless, it’s also possible we’ll hear Tripp say something that could back up this innocence idea as well – just to keep playing both sides. The show probably wants to drag this mystery out for a while, so we’ll see what’s in store.
As other news rolls in, we’ll pass along updates. Days of Our Lives spoilers say some stunning moments are still to come, so keep watching DOOL! CDL will have lots of other gripping Days of Our Lives spoilers, news and updates to read up on.
