Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Tuesday, December 1, reveal that Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) showed up at the Horton house with some paperwork for Jennifer Deveraux (Cady McClain) to sign.
Jack wondered when Jennifer would be returning to work, and Jennifer said that she was fine working from home for the time being, and that she didn’t know when she’d ever be able to believe Jack again.
At the Brady Pub, Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth) met with Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson), who thanked Justin for getting the assault charges against him dropped for his attack on Eli Grant (Lamon Archey). Ben lamented that now he’d just have to find some way to accept that Ciara Weston (Victoria Konefal) was gone.
After Ben took off, Jack walked in and exchanged pleasantries with Justin, then he told Justin about his affair with Kate DiMera (Lauren Koslow) off-screen. After some talk about what Adrienne Kiriakis (Judi Evans) would say about the whole mess, Jack decided that he should go track Jennifer down and fight for his marriage.
In town square, Claire Brady (Isabel Durant) and Charlie Dale (Mike C. Manning) met for coffee before work. Ben walked by, and Claire jumped right up and hugged him, saying that she had been worried sick about him.
Charlie looked a little miffed about the whole thing, and he hopped up and immediately introduced himself to Ben.
Ciara asked Ben to join them, and Charlie didn’t appear to appreciate this. Charlie soon took off, kissing Claire right in front of Ben before he did. Claire said that she wished she could help Ben get the closure he was looking for, and Ben said that there was something that Claire could help him with.
Over at the Kiriakis mansion, Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) and Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) enjoyed breakfast in bed, and they discussed Philip Kiriakis’ (Jay Kenneth Johnson) partner named Angela Vandekamp who had been to visit Kristen DiMera. Xander said he was going to pay Kristen a visit at Statesville today to get some answers.
Later, Sarah found Philip in the living room and got him engaged in putting up Christmas decorations with her. Sarah asked Philip some questions about his love life, but he was pretty circumspect about the whole thing.
Philip suggested that Titan was going to throw a concert for charity for the children’s wing at the hospital, and he thought perhaps Sarah could help with that. Sarah said she was in.
At Statesville, Xander came to see Kristen and immediately asked about Angela Vandekamp. “Who is she and what does she want with Titan?” Xander demanded. Kristen toyed with Xander for a bit, then she reminded him in no uncertain terms that he helped keep her baby from her, and that she owed him nothing.
Xander said that Angela was after Titan for some reason, and that was news to Kristen which she found quite interesting.
Ultimately, Kristen told Xander that he was on his own but that she went way back with Angela, and that he shouldn’t cross her unless he wants to get himself killed.
After Xander left, Kristen got on the phone and left a message for Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun). “Get back to the prison – there’s something I need to tell you,” Kristen said.
At Julie’s Place, Jennifer arrived to do some work at a table but encountered Bonnie Lockhart (Judi Evans) at the bar drinking a Bloody Mary. Bonnie sighed and carried on until Jennifer asked if something was wrong.
Bonnie lamented that she’d been waiting on Justin to call her, but he hadn’t. Bonnie commented on Jennifer’s perfect marriage, and off-screen Jennifer told Bonnie about Jack’s affair.
“They done us wrong, those jerks – I’m going to buy you a drink,” Bonnie said with gusto. Jennifer noted that she had a coffee, but Bonnie said that she needed something stronger.
A little while later, after a Bloody Mary or two, Bonnie suggested that they invite those two handsome men across the restaurant over to join them – it would serve Jack and Justin right.
A few minutes later, Jack and Justin walked in just in time for the two men to join Bonnie and Jennifer’s table with more drinks. Bonne and Jennifer laughed loudly and enjoyed themselves, while Justin stared blankly, and Jack looked appalled.
At the Salem Inn, Claire helped Ben pack up Ciara’s belongings from around the hotel room. Soon, Claire found a map to the woods near the airfield where Ciara was last seen alive.
Ben admitted to going to the woods and searching for signs of Ciara. Claire comforted Ben, then Ben asked if there were any of Ciara’s belongings that Claire wanted. Claire wanted a necklace that belonged to Victor Kiriakis’ (John Aniston) mother, so Ben gave it to her.
The necklace was a locket, and Claire noticed that Ciara had put a photo in the locket of when they were kids. Ben said that Ciara loved that picture, and both Claire and Ben started crying and hugged, comforting each other.
In the Titan CEO office, Philip arrived to find Charlie working away. When Philip stepped out to get some coffee, Charlie noticed that Philip left his laptop open, so Charlie sat down and started snooping. Soon, Philip returned and wanted to know what was going on. Charlie looked totally caught.
Back at the Kiriakis mansion, Sarah and Xander regrouped after Xander’s visit with Kristen. Sarah told Xander that she got an invitation from Philip to work on a charity event for Titan.
Xander didn’t like the sound of that, but Sarah thought it was a good opportunity for her to win Philips trust. “Good luck with that,” Xander said. “About that…I have an idea, but you’re not going to like it,” Sarah said.
