Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers update for Tuesday, May 12, teases that Sonny Kiriakis (Freddie Smith) will miss his mom on the anniversary of her death. Adrienne Kiriakis (Judi Evans) was a great mom to Sonny, who loved her dearly. As Sonny struggles with his grief, Will Horton (Chandler Massey) will offer support. They’ll come together to reflect on some bittersweet memories, but Sonny will ultimately sob over his loss.
Of course, the mystery of that Mother’s Day crash continues to unravel. Judi Evans will appear on Days down the road, but will she play Bonnie Lockhart or a miraculously alive Adrienne? We’ll have to wait and see, but it’s nice to know there’s still hope for Adrienne’s comeback.
In the meantime, let’s talk about a happy reunion and an emotional farewell. In Paris, Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) will insist on taking her baby back from Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey).
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Kristen will remind Sarah that she’s Rachel Black’s mother. She’ll push Sarah to give Rachel up, but Sarah will continue to drag her feet.
In fact, Sarah will argue that if Kristen really loved Rachel, she’d let her go. Kristen will make it clear that Sarah won’t be taking her child, but she’ll grow gentler as the conversation progresses.
DOOL spoilers say Kristen’s genuine plea for her daughter will finally win Sarah over. It’ll be tough for Sarah to hand off Rachel, but she’ll know it’s what she has to do.
Once Sarah bolts away from Kristen and Rachel’s reunion, Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) will dash after her. He’ll be surprised and a bit jealous when he finds Rex Brady (Kyle Lowder) consoling Sarah.
Over with Brady Black (Eric Martsolf), he’ll catch up with Kristen and express joy over getting their little girl back. Alas, the “Bristen” family won’t stay intact for long.
Days spoilers say Brady will think there’s only one thing to do. He’ll urge Kristen to make her escape with Rachel while she still can. They can’t raise Rachel together in Salem like they planned, but Kristen can be with her daughter if she lives on the run.
It’ll break Brady’s heart to let them go, but he’ll be willing to make this sacrifice for Kristen’s sake.
While Brady shares a tearful goodbye with Kristen and Rachel, the mood will be much lighter back in Salem. Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) saved an old washer back when he fixed Ciara Brady’s (Victoria Konefal) motorcycle, so he turned it into her engagement ring.
After Ben presents Ciara with this significant reminder of their history, she’ll gladly accept his marriage proposal.
