Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Tuesday, November 10, reveal that Charlie Dale (Mike C. Manning) called Claire Brady (Isabel Durant) from the Titan CEO office.
Charlie asked Claire if she wanted to go on that dinner date that they had talked about, and she agreed to check her schedule. As Charlie wrapped up the conversation, Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) walked in the office and overheard Charlie’s end of the conversation.
Xander thought that Charlie ought to quit his babbling with the girl he was talking to, and Charlie revealed that the girl he’s interested in is Claire. Xander told Charlie that Claire had spent time in the “looney bin” and was a “firebug.”
Charlie was unfazed, saying that a lot of people struggle with mental health issues and that he admired Claire for getting help.
Xander then wondered why Charlie was being such a wimp on the phone, and he instructed Charlie to be a “real man” and take charge. “Go take Claire out for dinner right now,” Xander urged, giving Charlie flowers from Philip Kiriakis’ (Jay Kenneth Johnson) desk.
After Charlie took off, Xander examined a report and wondered aloud why Philip had transferred some funds.
At the Brady house, Theo Carver (Cameron Johnson) arrived to see Claire. Claire was thrilled to see Theo, and they bonded over their grief for Ciara Weston (Victoria Konefal).
Claire apologized for her past behavior and insecurities about Ciara, and Theo apologized for hurting her, too. After listening to a song that Claire wrote for Ciara’s memorial, Claire and Theo kissed…just as Charlie showed up and his face fell.
In the park, Jennifer Deveraux (Cady McClain) hauled off and slapped Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford), ranting about how she’ll never understand how Jack could be with another woman while she was in a coma.
Jennifer lamented that her father had an affair with Kate DiMera (Lauren Koslow), too. Jack said that it wasn’t the same, but Jennifer was furious and walked off.
Soon, Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) came along and Jack blasted her for telling everyone about the affair in a public way. Abigail refused to have this whole thing turned on her, but Jack berated Abigail for her reckless and thoughtless decision to blurt out the news publicly.
Abigail blasted her dad right back, saying that Jennifer deserved to know the truth.
Abigail explained about how she drank too much champagne at the party because she was upset, and Jack said that Abigail just wasn’t herself. “I love you. You’re my daughter, but I think you’d better go home because I can’t stand to look at you,” Jack said. Abigail took off.
In Kate’s room at the DiMera mansion, Kate pushed Jake Lambert (Brandon Barash) away as he leaned in for a kiss. Kate said that it had been fun flirting with him, but that she isn’t going to just fall into bed with him.
Jake said that he saw a different side to Kate tonight, and he wondered if he was misreading signals. Kate said no, and she and Jake proceeded to make love.
Afterwards, Kate insisted that this could never happen again – because of Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn). Kate said that Chad couldn’t stand Jake, and that she cares what Chad thinks.
Jake said that he didn’t want to jeopardize Kate’s relationship with Chad, but it didn’t mean that they had to stop sleeping together – they could just keep it their secret.
In the living room of the mansion, Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) talked with Chad, who struggled to understand why Abigail would want to announce such private details to everyone at the anniversary party.
Gwen explained that Abigail started drinking. “I couldn’t stop her,” Gwen lied. Chad lamented that he should have gotten Abigail out of the party before she dropped her bomb.
Outside the Brady Pub, JJ Deveraux (Casey Moss) came along and found Jennifer sitting alone. Jennifer recounted her argument with Jack, and JJ comforted his mother.
JJ blamed himself for not being there for his dad during a difficult time, but Jennifer said that none of this was JJ’s fault. JJ offered for Jennifer to stay with him tonight, and Jennifer accepted.
At Julie’s Place, Jack walked into the dark restaurant and brooded as he looked at all the anniversary decorations around the place. Jack then flung himself on the floor and sat there upset.
Back at the DiMera mansion, Gwen was alone in the living room telling Stefano DiMera’s (Joseph Mascolo) portrait that she couldn’t have planned the evening any better when Abigail walked in.
Abigail shared that Jack ripped her to shreds and blamed her for everything. Gwen looked smugly satisfied.
Finally, up in Kate’s bedroom, Kate and Jake were still talking in bed about whether they were going to keep their affair going when there was a knock on the door. “Kate, are you there?” Chad called from outside the room.
