Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for Tuesday, October 13, tease that Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) will decide to make a huge sacrifice. DOOL viewers know Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) secretly recorded Kristen’s confession – and he just showed up at Kristen’s hotel room to tell her all about it! Once Kristen wraps her head around the news, she’ll feel devastated, furious and terrified about what’s next.
However, Eli will explain the tight spot Melinda Trask (Tina Huang) put him in. If Eli doesn’t hand over this confession tape, then Melinda will prosecute Lani Price-Grant (Sal Stowers) and could force her behind bars.
Eli will hope Kristen can understand why he’s throwing her under the bus to save his wife and the mother of his children.
Kristen should indeed get why Eli has to do this, but he’ll drop one more bomb. Eli will argue that since Kristen’s going down anyway, she should just turn herself in and spare him the drama of betraying Lani.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Kristen will ultimately accept that there’s no wiggling out of her punishment, so she’ll be willing to confess in person and save Eli’s marriage to Lani.
Meanwhile, Lani will pour her heart out and try to bring out Melinda’s softer side. That’ll be tough since Melinda certainly isn’t a soft and cuddly person, but Lani will at least convince the DA to listen.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Lani will deliver a sincere plea in hopes of reducing the charges against Kristen or getting Melinda to cut a deal.
Just as Lani starts to make progress with Melinda, Kristen will arrive with a big announcement to make. Days spoilers say Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) will show up in time to hear Kristen confess along with Lani. Brady and Lani will try to stop Kristen before it’s too late, but she’ll insist on pleading guilty and facing the consequences.
Over with Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien), she’ll move forward with a new scheme. Gwen’s been looking awfully jealous over Abigail DiMera’s (Marci Miller) bond with her parents, Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) and Jennifer Deveraux (Melissa Reeves).
Gwen clearly resents Abigail for being the perfect daughter, so she’s working on a destruction plot that’ll leave Abby’s life torn apart.
As part of that plot, Gwen has come up with a new plan – which involves a way to celebrate the anniversary of Jennifer coming out of a coma. It looks like some party planning will be on the agenda in Tuesday’s DOOL episode. This could lead to one disastrous shindig down the road, so stay tuned!
In the meantime, Jake Lambert (Brandon Barash) and Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) will do some major clashing. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Jake will rant about how he’s the heir and Chad’s the spare. He’ll want some respect as a DiMera and will warn Chad about how they handle stuff like this back in “Philly.”
Chad will wonder if Jake’s threatening him, but Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow) may intervene before things get out of hand. That’s when Chad should reveal that he actually wanted to make peace.
Abigail pushed Chad into extending an olive branch, so Chad will put his issues with Jake aside and hope they can find some sense of harmony.
