Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Tuesday, October 6, reveal that Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) was in the Titan CEO office when the new intern Charlie Gale (Mike C. Manning) entered.
Xander ordered Charlie to get him a protein shake, and then Philip Kiriakis (Jay Kenneth Johnson) walked in, surprising Xander, since Xander thought Philip was in jail.
Xander and Philip bickered, and Philip accused Xander of putting Jan Spears (Heather Lindell) up to accusing him of threatening to kill her. Xander basically admitted it, and the men were arguing when Charlie walked in with the protein shake just as Philip was insulting Xander.
Xander ended up leaning back to punch Philip and spilled the shake all over Charlie.
Xander gave Charlie some money to buy a new shirt, and later Philip called Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston) to tell him that Xander put Jan up to having him arrested. Philip transferred the call to Xander’s desk, saying that Victor wanted to talk with Xander.
In town square, Claire Brady (Isabel Durant) met up with Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold), and after talking about Ciara Weston’s (Victoria Konefal) apparent death, Allie told Claire about her allegation of rape against Tripp Dalton (Lucas Adams).
Claire was stunned, and Allie recounted the whole story about how Tripp took advantage of her while she was drunk.
Allie wanted to know if Claire thought that Tripp was capable of rape, and Claire didn’t think so, but she did recount how Tripp framed Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) for starting a fire, and how Tripp held a scalpel to Kayla Brady’s (Mary Beth Evans) throat to avenge his mother’s death.
Claire offered her support to Allie, and eventually Allie left to go back to Nicole Brady’s (Arianne Zucker) apartment.
Later, Charlie walked through town square with a new shirt on and a bag from a department store. Claire ended up tripping over Charlie when he bent down to pick something up, and she spilled her smoothie all over Charlie’s new shirt.
At Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) and Kayla’s apartment, Lani Price-Grant (Sal Stowers) told Steve and Tripp that someone made an allegation against Tripp and that he needed to come down to the station.
Steve balked, saying that Lani could come back with a warrant, but Tripp said he didn’t do anything wrong, so he’d go to the station.
At the Salem Inn, Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) was alone in her room when Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) arrived. Eli told Kristen that Melinda Trask (Tina Huang) had Lani in her crosshairs, and Kristen insisted that she would not let Lani pay for helping her.
Eli kept the conversation going until Kristen detailed how she stabbed Victor. Eli thanked Kristen for helping Lani, then left, having recorded the whole conversation.
At the Kiriakis mansion, Bonnie Lockhart (Judi Evans) showed up to talk with Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth). Justin wasn’t in any mood for Bonnie, but Bonnie disclosed that she was giving the bulk of her settlement to Sonny Kiriakis’ (Freddie Smith) new company in Adrienne Kiriakis’ (Judi Evans) name.
Justin was stunned, and he seemed to soften a bit toward Bonnie. Bonnie asked if Justin could ever forgive her for what she did to Adrienne just as Steve came in looking for Justin.
Steve fumed about Justin spending time with Bonnie, but Justin shut Steve down. Steve then said that Tripp needed Justin’s help and that he was down at the police station.
Justin took off, and Steve was chilly to Bonnie. Bonnie then disclosed to Steve about how she was giving her settlement money to Sonny’s company in Adrienne’s name. Steve was touched and said that it would have meant a lot to Adrienne.
At the Salem PD, Lani and Tripp talked in an interrogation room, and Lani started her questioning, asking Tripp if he was in London last December at a club named Jubilee.
Lani kept going with her questions, until Tripp asked what this was about. “Tripp, Allie said that you raped her,” Lani said. Tripp fumed, asking if Allie was trying to say that her baby was his.
Tripp then told his version of the story about how he took care of Allie when she was too drunk to stand. Tripp insisted that he would never rape anyone, and then Justin walked in and put an end to Lani’s interview.
Lani left upset, and Justin asked Tripp what was going on. Tripp said that Allie said that he raped her, and when Justin wanted more information, Tripp took off in a huff.
Later, Steve walked into the interrogation room and talked with Justin. Steve asked Justin what was going on and why Lani brought Tripp in. “You’d better sit down,” Justin told Steve.
At Eli and Lani’s apartment, Eli returned and listened to portions of the taped confession that he got from Kristen. Lani then returned home saying that she had a long day and wondering what Melinda had wanted to talk with Eli about before.
Eli assured Lani that Melinda wouldn’t be pursuing her involvement in Kristen’s escape any further.
At Nicole’s apartment, Allie returned to find Nicole and the baby out. Soon, there was a knock on the door, and when Allie opened the door, Tripp was standing there looking angry.
