Days of Our Lives (DOOL) photo spoilers update for the week of August 7 teases that plenty of action is coming up on the NBC soap. And judging by the new DOOL spoiler pictures for the week of August 3-7, we’re in for some movement on several storyline fronts.
Days Spoilers include the terrifying drama unfolding with Ben Weston’s (Robert Scott Wilson) kidnapping saga, and some happy news for Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) and Lani Price-Grant (Sal Stowers). We’ve got the details about what you can expect, so let’s get right into it!
Steve & Kayla Strengthen Their Bond
First off, Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) and Kayla Brady (Mary Beth Evans) will get settled into Kayla’s apartment. Days of Our Lives viewers will remember that Kayla was a little hesitant to invite Steve to live with her, since she and Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth) had lived in the same apartment.
But Steve didn’t mind; he just wanted to be wherever Kayla was. During the Week of August 3-7, look for Steve and Kayla to talk about their relationship going forward – could we see plans for a “Stayla” wedding in the near future?
Bonnie Wants Justin To Be Her Lawyer
Next, Bonnie Lockhart (Judi Evans) will have a shocking request for Justin – she’ll want him to represent her in some legal matter. The DOOL spoiler pictures show Justin and Bonnie meeting in town square, with Bonnie looking upset about something.
Could Bonnie have been sued by someone, possibly over her best-selling book, “Love Made Me Looney?” Whatever the case, it seems that Bonnie is going to need some legal representation, and Justin will seem like the logical choice. But will Justin agree to help this person whom he can’t stand?
Lani & Eli Get Shocking News About Lani’s Pregnancy
After a terrifying scare following the church bombing, Eli and Lani learned that their baby was doing just fine. This came as a huge relief to the couple, who has already lost their first child and couldn’t possibly deal with another devastating loss.
Well, during the week of August 3-7, Lani will be back at the hospital for a prenatal checkup, and Eli will be right by her side as they receive unexpected news. It certainly looks like Lani will be expecting more than one baby!
That will be some big news to hear, and Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) will share it with “Elani,” who might not believe it at first. Sarah will say that this is “rare,” which would certainly be true if Lani were expecting twin babies!
It should be fun to watch Eli and Lani take the news in and realize that parenthood is going to look very different than they initially thought.
Ben Tries To Escape From Eve & Her Brainwashing Scheme
In a warehouse in New York City, a terrifying turn of events will unfold. As DOOL viewers know, Eve Donovan (Kassie DePaiva) is planning to turn Ben back into the necktie killer and to give him specific programming to kill his new wife, Ciara Weston (Victoria Konefal).
Ben will be strapped to a chair, injected with drugs, shocked, and brainwashed into wanting to kill Ciara. It should be pretty horrifying, and Eve will get help from her employee Vincent (Michael Teh), who will turn out to be a protege of Dr. Wilhelm Rolf’s (William Utay). Yikes.
At any rate, DOOL spoilers say that Ben will be tied up and pretty helpless during this whole ordeal, but it seems that at one point, he’ll try to escape. Ben’s attempt at escaping will meet with a disastrous end, though, and one way or another Eve won’t let him go anywhere.
The good news here is that Ben will be found by Hope Brady (Kristian Alfonso) and Ciara later in the week. But at this point, Ben may already be programmed to kill Ciara.
Gwen Spies On Gabi For Chad
Finally, things at the DiMera mansion are going to get complicated. As DOOL viewers know, Jake Lambert (Brandon Barash) and Gwen (Emily O’Brien) have just wormed their way into the DiMera mansion thanks to Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn).
Chad knew that having Jake and Gwen around would irritate Gabi DiMera (Camila Banus), so he signed on for it. Plus, Chad wants Gwen to spy on Gabi for him, which DOOL spoilers say that Gwen will do this week.
It also seems that some uncomfortable situations will come up as well, and it will all be based on the burgeoning attraction between Jake and Gabi. Neither Jake nor Gabi is willing to admit that they are attracted to the other, but viewers can clearly see it.
During the week of August 3-7, Gabi will be in her room, when Jake enters wearing a towel, clearly having walked in the wrong room. One wonders how long it will take for Jake and Gabi to admit their feelings for each other!
