Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers update for Friday, May 22, teases that Abigail DiMera (Kate Mansi) and Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) will have to tackle a family dilemma. There’s a treatment available in Florida, but Abigail doesn’t want to upend Thomas DiMera (Cary Christopher) and Charlotte DiMera’s lives. It’s been decided that the kids will remain in Salem, but what about Chad?
Chad assured Abigail that they’re in this together, but Abby doesn’t seem thrilled about him bailing on Thomas and Charlotte. When they revisit the treatment discussion, Abigail may once again put up a fight on Chad going with her. However, they might be able to reach a compromise here. Chad can always catch a flight to and from Florida when he needs to.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Chad will spend some of the summer in Florida, but we also know he’ll be seen in Salem for some Gabi DiMera (Camila Banus) story developments.
Kate Mansi will depart DOOL during the week of May 25-29, but Billy Flynn continued to film without Mansi on set. You can expect Chad to stay involved in some hot plots in the coming months.
For now, Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) will reel over John Black’s (Drake Hogestyn) time in captivity. Days spoilers say Steve will seethe over Orpheus (George DelHoyo), who kidnapped John and is demanding a hefty ransom.
Kayla Brady (Mary Beth Evans) will get the scoop from Steve, who’ll worry Orpheus intends to kill John at the end of this nightmare.
Over with John, he’ll once again push David Ridgeway (Kyler Ends) to help him. John already encouraged David to hand him a nearby phone, but Orpheus interrupted and scolded John for trying to use the kid. We’ll basically see a repeat of this scenario on Thursday.
John will ask David for some help getting the rope of his wrists, but Orpheus will appear before David can untangle John’s restraints.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Orpheus will reprimand John once again and share some grand plans. Orpheus intends to take the money Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) transfers and build a new life with David. He’ll think he can give David everything he needs and shape him into a devious little monster like his grandpa.
Orpheus will probably hint that John’s going to die whether Marlena delivers on her promise or not. Why wouldn’t Orpheus murder his worst nemesis? It’s a no-brainer since Orpheus finally has this deadly opportunity right in front of him. The good news is John’s rescue team will arrive soon. The bad news is danger will erupt!
Until then, Zoey Burge (Alyshia Ochse) will have a secret she withholds from Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering). DOOL spoilers say Zoey won’t want Rafe to know what she’s hiding, but what is it exactly?
It’s possible Zoey still wants to raise David herself and intends to kidnap him once Orpheus is apprehended. Then again, Zoey might have some other shocker she doesn’t want Rafe in the loop on.
