Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers update for Monday, July 6, teases that Kayla Brady (Mary Beth Evans) will find out about some pre-wedding drama. After a crisis strikes, maybe Kayla will feel like it’s some omen on her big day. There’ll definitely be some doubts in the back of Kayla’s mind as she prepares to tie the knot.
It’s possible Kayla’s crisis will involve a patient at the hospital – like Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) having Braxton Hicks contractions or something along those lines. However, this sounds more like a crisis related to the actual nuptials.
Days will really want to drive the point home that Kayla’s not all in on this marriage. Anything that seems like a bad sign will work well for the story.
In the town square, Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth) will meet up with Sonny Kiriakis (Freddie Smith) for breakfast. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Sonny will try to encourage Justin, who just won’t be sure Kayla truly wants to marry him. Justin will think Kayla’s hung up on Steve, so he’ll wonder if this wedding is a mistake.
Sonny won’t want to see Justin throw away his shot at bliss after losing Adrienne Kiriakis (Judi Evans). Since Sonny can see how much Justin loves Kayla, he’ll probably argue that it’s normal to have cold feet. Sonny should stay positive about the nuptials, but Justin will soon have another reason to fret.
After Jennifer Deveraux (Melissa Reeves) speaks with Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) about Steve’s feelings for Kayla, she’ll discuss those feelings with Hope Brady (Kristian Alfonso), too.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Hope and Jennifer will note that Kayla doesn’t have all the facts. Jenn and Hope may wonder if it’d change anything for Kayla if she knew Steve still loved her and wanted her back.
Since Hope and Jennifer will be having this discussion in the park, anybody could just walk up and eavesdrop – and that’s exactly what Justin will do. Days spoilers state that Justin will catch the end of their conversation and push Hope to make a confession.
When pressed, Hope will admit that Steve’s still pining for Kayla and has simply stepped aside for the sake of her new romance.
Once Justin knows how Steve really feels, he’ll have to figure out if he’s going to bring Kayla up to speed. While Justin mulls it over, Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) will face temptation.
DOOL viewers know Xander’s single and can do whatever he wants, but that’ll be hard when his heart still belongs to Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey).
A beautiful woman will be seen standing next to the door of Xander’s hotel room – and he’ll sort of breathe her in like he wants her. It’s possible this woman is an escort or someone Xander picked up at a bar or something, but we shouldn’t assume anything really happened the night before.
Xander probably wouldn’t have performance issues like Brady Black (Eric Martsolf), but he might’ve restrained himself. If Days is going to make Brady unable to sleep with Sarah because of his true love, Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk), then it makes sense for Xander to skip his own steamy session because of Sarah.
Afterward, Xander will seek advice from his new confidant. Jack had some good guidance last time, so Xander will hope Jack can help him out again. Since Xander isn’t willing to let Sarah go yet, he might wonder if there’s anything else he can do to win her back.
Jack may feel like Xander should leave the ball in Sarah’s court this time. She might come around if she feels less pressured.
At the Kiriakis mansion, Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston) will clash with Sarah about Xander and his blunders. Sarah’s faced a great deal of pain thanks to Xander, but he did it all in the name of being protective.
Xander would never hurt Sarah intentionally, so Victor will defend him and perhaps urge Sarah to keep that in mind.
