Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers update for Monday, June 1, teases that Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth) will anxiously await Kayla Brady’s (Mary Beth Evans) answer to his marriage proposal. Justin knows what he wants, so he just plopped down in the middle of the hospital and asked Kayla to be his wife.
Of course, there’s someone else who’ll be quite interested in Kayla’s answer – and that’s Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols). Steve was ready to get Kayla back, but he looked crushed when he saw Justin popping the question. Justin and Kayla will soon spread their engagement news, so Kayla will obviously give Justin a “yes” and ruin Steve’s reunion plan for now.
Over with Lani Price (Sal Stowers), she’ll break down in tears as she admits to Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) that she’s scared. Lani has longed for motherhood ever since she lost her son, David Grant. David’s death took a toll on Lani emotionally, and she now has wounds she’ll never completely heal from. Lani will fret over not being able to handle it if this baby dies, too.
Although Eli can’t predict the outcome of this pregnancy, he can let Lani know he’ll be with her every step of the way. That won’t take away Lani’s fears, but it could give her the courage to face them.
At some point in the week ahead, Lani and Eli will fill Abe Carver (James Reynolds) and Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) in on their impending bundle of joy. Despite Lani’s fears, she’ll keep the baby and trust that things will work better this time around.
Other Days of Our Lives spoilers say Will Horton (Chandler Massey) and Sonny Kiriakis (Freddie Smith) will have a deeper discussion about their second child. Will and Sonny will agree they’re committed to all the craziness of adding a baby to their family.
It’ll be a massive undertaking, but they have a lot of extra love to give. Sonny and Will might as well give that love to a baby who needs it.
DOOL viewers can expect pregnant Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) to show up in Salem this summer – and she’ll be looking for someone to adopt her kid. Allie’s older brother and his husband seem like the perfect parents for her baby.
There’ll be plenty of details to work out later, but it’s good to know where things are headed in Will and Sonny’s story.
In the meantime, Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) will face off with Zoey Burge (Alyshia Ochse). Days spoilers say Rafe will be furious when Zoey explains she still plans to go after custody.
Rafe just got David Ridgeway (Kyler Ends) back, but now he’ll have to worry about being separated again. He won’t think it’s right, especially since Zoey pointed a gun at two officers and almost caused a bloody nightmare.
Unfortunately, Zoey has a knack for wiggling out of trouble like Orpheus (George DelHoyo). She’s also got some serious legal skills, so she won’t get in any real trouble over what went down at the hideout.
That means Zoey and Rafe will soon go to war over David and his future. Days fans won’t want to miss the custody battle ahead!
