Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers update for Monday, May 25, teases that Hope Brady (Kristian Alfonso) will join Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) as they try to find David Ridgeway (Kyler Ends). However, that could be tricky thanks to Zoey Burge (Alyshia Ochse). Orpheus (George DelHoyo) talked Zoey into going behind Rafe’s back and helping him, so she could attempt to flee with David.
Orpheus will be in the park for the hostage handoff and money transfer. Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) warned that Orpheus wouldn’t get a dime unless John Black (Drake Hogestyn) returned home safely.
Orpheus is the one calling the shots here, but he’ll agree to give John back to Marlena in the end. Once Orpheus has the $15 million he wants, he’ll get ready to bolt with his grandson.
Before Orpheus can reconvene with David and make his escape, Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) will leap into action. It won’t be long until Steve bashes Orpheus in the head, which will knock him out briefly. Once Orpheus regains consciousness, he’ll be apprehended by Steve and dragged down to the police station.
Back with Zoey, she may realize things have gone south for Orpheus. Zoey’s father won’t be going anywhere with David, but what about Zoey herself? That brings us to the attempt to flee we mentioned. It looks like Zoey may panic and try to take off with her nephew, but Rafe won’t let David go without a fight.
Days spoilers say Rafe will get shot once Tuesday’s DOOL episode airs, so Monday’s show could set the stage for that. The bullet will actually hit Rafe’s police badge, but who will fire the gun? Zoey seems like the only logical candidate under the circumstances. She’s the kind of gal who’ll go to extremes when necessary, so this may be one of those times.
Next, let’s talk about Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow). Kate’s eager to get to work at the mayor’s office, but Abe Carver’s (James Reynolds) had some reservations about letting her have this position. Nevertheless, Abe will move forward with hiring Kate and hope he doesn’t regret it.
Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) always likes to watch out for Abe, so that’s exactly what she’ll do on Monday. Kate can’t be trusted and tends to burn even the people she cares about. Nicole won’t think it’s wise for Abe to make Kate part of his team, but she won’t be able to stop him.
Since Abe won’t back down on giving Kate a shot at proving herself, Nicole will just have to let him make this mistake of himself. Of course, it may not be a mistake at all! It just might turn into a wonderful decision – especially if love blooms for Abe and Kate down the road.
As for Nicole and Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan), their love has been blooming for years. It’s time for these two to get hitched, so they’ll take a step toward their wedding day in Monday’s DOOL episode. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Eric will give Nicole the best proposal she could possibly ask for.
Nicole will get choked up as she takes in this heartfelt moment. Once Nicole accepts, she’ll lock lips with Eric and look forward to planning some quick nuptials. As other Days news becomes available, we’ll bring you updates.
