Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers update for Monday, September 21, tease that Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) will insist that Sami Brady DiMera (Alison Sweeney) is NOT going anywhere with that baby!
Sami swooped in and stole Nicole Brady’s (Arianne Zucker) chance to raise the kid along with Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan), so Allie will fume. She’ll be appalled with Sami for dismissing her wishes, but she won’t exactly be shocked.
This is how Sami rolls, but Allie will think she can fix what her mom messed up. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Allie will plan to track down Nicole and convince her to talk to the judge again. Allie will be hopeful that they can get the judge’s decision overturned and put the baby back in Nicole’s hands.
Sami will freak over the possibility of Nicole raising her grandson after all, so she’ll have some scrambling to do. There’ll be a last-ditch effort to keep Baby Boy Horton away from Nicole, but Eric will prompt a change of heart soon.
After Nicole gives Eric her blessing to head to the Congo, Eric will decide to have a talk with Sami and put her on the path to peace with Allie.
In the meantime, Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) will turn on the charm and attempt to reel Jan Spears (Heather Lindell) in. Since Xander doesn’t want to share the Titan throne, he needs a plan to kick Philip Kiriakis (Jay Kenneth Johnson) to the curb. Jan will be part of that plan – at least if she’ll cooperate.
Xander will hope to manipulate Jan into doing his bidding, but she can be pretty crafty herself. Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) should see trouble coming from a mile away!
Jan is bad news, so Sarah will think Xander should stop his partnership before it begins. The best thing Xander could do for himself is create some distance, so he might agree to steer clear of Jan.
Unfortunately, Xander’s power hungry right now and hates Philip’s guts. He’ll probably wind up breaking his promise if Jan can prove useful. For now, DOOL spoilers say Sarah and Xander will continue to enjoy their sweet romance. Things are going well for “Xarah,” but that may not be the case for long if Jan butts in.
Other Days spoilers say Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) will try to help Claire Brady (Isabel Durant) understand. Jan is a dangerous sociopath who still belongs in a mental institution. Bonding with Jan could put Claire’s mental health in jeopardy – and perhaps pose a risk of physical harm, too.
Marlena will insist in no uncertain terms that Claire should avoid all contact with Jan. Claire won’t think Marlena’s being very fair under the circumstances. Marlena supported Ben Weston’s (Robert Scott Wilson) recovery and approved Claire’s release not too long ago.
Claire may not get why Marlena thinks some people should get second chances and not others.
However, Marlena’s family has to come first – and Jan poses a major threat to Claire, Belle Black (Martha Madison) and Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer). Across town, Shawn will grow agitated over the close moment he walks in on.
Philip will have his arms around Belle, which Shawn won’t appreciate considering Belle and Philip’s history.
Even so, the fear of betrayal will take a backseat to shared concern for Claire. Shawn will try to put any jealousy aside and focus on Belle’s updates. Jan will stop at nothing to inflict misery on Shawn and Belle, so Claire is her latest tool to do that.
Philip assured Belle that he’d watch out for her along with her daughter, but Shawn is Belle’s partner and Claire’s devoted dad. Shawn may remind Philip that this is HIS family, so there’s really no need for Philip to get too involved.
