Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers update for Thursday December 24, reveals that Valerie Grant (Vanessa A. Williams) will make it to Salem just in time for the birth of her new grandson and granddaughter. After plenty of pushing and coaching from Kayla Brady (Mary Beth Evans), Lani will finally have her newborn twins.
It looks like Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) will have a minor freak-out thanks to Valerie and Abe Carver (James Reynolds). They’ll probably tease Eli a bit about how chaotic his life’s going to be now, but Abe and Valerie will offer reassurance in the end. There’s no doubt that Lani and Eli are going to be great parents.
Days spoilers say there’ll be some heartfelt family scenes once Lani, Eli, Abe and Valerie are all in the same room as the new babies. Everyone will take turns holding these sweet little bundles and making predictions about their futures.
The good news is the babies will be healthy and happy. The bad news is they’ll be kidnapped from the nursery down the road! That shocker’s not happening just yet, so Eli and Lani can have some bonding time with their babies for now.
Other Days of Our Lives spoilers say Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) will head over to the pub, where she’ll wish Roman Brady (Josh Taylor) a merry Christmas and let him hold Henry Horton (Jayna and Kinsley Fox). Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo) will also mosey in, but conflict will erupt before you know it.
Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) will also make an appearance at the pub alone with Joey. Since both Steve and Joey are standing by Tripp Dalton (Lucas Adams), Lucas is bound to fume.
As for Allie, she’ll steal a moment alone to handle something important. Allie will get Sami Brady DiMera (Alison Sweeney) on a video chat and come clean about what happened to her in London.
DOOL fans know Allie was raped, which led to Henry’s conception. It was a horrible experience for Allie – and for a while, Allie feared she wouldn’t be able to connect with Henry. He was a reminder of the assault Allie endured. Thankfully, Allie was able to bond with Henry anyway and now adores her son.
Allie should explain most of that to her mom in Thursday’s episode, so all the adoption drama should make sense to Sami. Days of Our Lives spoilers state that Sami will get choked up over everything Allie’s been through and will vow to do anything Allie needs. All Allie has to do is say the word.
Allie will appreciate the offer, but she’ll probably let Sami know she’s doing much better these days. Nicole Brady (Arianne Zucker) has been a huge help, so Sami may admit she’s glad Allie has someone there with her in Salem to support her.
Sami herself will return to town in early 2021, so stay tuned to watch her shake things up.
Until then, let’s talk about Tripp and his worries about Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun). Ava still won’t be back at her apartment, so Tripp may fear something awful has gone down.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Steve will pop over to Ava’s place and debate the topic with Tripp. After the gifts are opened, Steve will most likely insist that Ava will turn up. Deep down, Steve may be hoping Ava doesn’t!
Of course, Days viewers know exactly where Ava is. She’s being held hostage over at Charlie Dale’s (Mike Manning) place – and that’s where she’ll remain for the time being.
As for Steve, he’ll put on his Santa suit and make sure “Patchy Claus” brings some holiday cheer to the hospital. That’s not where any kid wants to be on Christmas morning, but Steve will spread some joy and lift some spirits.
Kayla will be anxious to head home with Steve so they can hit the sheets for some holiday lovemaking, but Joey will have an announcement to make first. After turning to Roman and Steve for guidance, Joey will make a choice regarding his future.
There’s a good chance Joey’s new path will take him somewhere far away from Salem, so Kayla and Steve will have to come to grips with that.
We’ll fill you in as other DOOL updates emerge. Some Christmas curveballs are still to come, so keep watching. CDL’s the place to be for all the hot Days of Our Lives spoilers, updates and news you’re looking for.
