Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers update for Tuesday, December 29, teases that Philip Kiriakis (Jay Kenneth Johnson) will head over to Basic Black. That’s where Philip will shake on an agreement with Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin), so this probably ties in with Chloe and Brady Black’s (Eric Martsolf) recent discussion about silk storage.
Basic Black is in a bind and desperately needs a temperature-controlled warehouse, so it seems Philip will let them rent one of Titan’s. Of course, it’s wise for Chloe take the lead here. Philip has a real soft spot for Chloe, so she should be able to sweet talk him into this without any problems.
As for Brady, it looks like he may catch Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) working on her latest plot. Sarah will get serious about obtaining incriminating information, but she may have to deal with Brady along the way.
However, Brady may suggest he’d rather stay out of this. He’ll probably have no problem watching Philip fall on his face as long as he deserves it. Brady’s all about focusing on Titan and awaiting Kristen DiMera’s (Stacy Haiduk) eventual release from prison.
Even so, even Basic Black execs need to play every now and then! Since Kristen obviously won’t be home for New Year’s Eve and Chloe is currently single, Brady will have an idea. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Brady will ask his former flame to be his date.
Naturally, Brady will just want to go to the upcoming bash as friends, but they’re sure to cause plenty of drama. Chloe and Brady will likely know they’re going to turn a few heads – Philip’s head in particular. Since Philip ghosted Chloe before they both returned to town, this might be a bit of payback.
Philip will share some close moments with Chloe at the party later this week, but it seems he’ll have to watch Chloe and Brady’s lip lock, too. That kiss between friends will make some serious waves once the news spread to Kristen, so keep watching for more DOOL drama!
Until then, let’s get back to Sarah and the flash drive she’ll hand over to Xander. It’ll hopefully contain what Xander needs to knock Philip off the Titan throne, but they’ll have to be careful. Philip is dealing with major mob problems – and that means danger could be on the horizon once his money laundering scheme is exposed.
Other Days spoilers say frustrated Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) will lean on Xander for support. Xander considers himself the resident doctor of love, so he’ll tell Jack how to fix his relationship with Jennifer Deveraux (Cady McClain).
Whether Xander’s advice is good or bad, Jack may not need it since Jenn’s already softening toward him. Saul (Paul Tigue) from the Salem Inn confirmed Jack wasn’t with Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow), so that was a huge relief for Jennifer.
Kate was with someone else – and it seems Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) may figure out who that someone is. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Abigail will deliver a bombshell that catches Jennifer off guard.
There’s a good chance this will be about the real identity of Kate’s lover – and Abigail may be convinced that it’s Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash).
Abigail will seek the truth from Jake himself once Wednesday rolls around. In the meantime, it appears Kate will rush to Jake’s defense after he fights another round with Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn).
Jake will don a fancy suit and play the part of a proper DiMera for the New Year’s Eve party. That may irritate Chad, who thinks his brother is far from sophisticated.
Kate may argue that Chad should at least try to get along with Jake, but Chad will fly into a rage. He may wonder why Kate is taking Jake’s side, but she certainly won’t tell the truth – not yet anyway.
There’ll be loads more confusion before Chad understands what’s really going on. Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) will make certain of that!
