Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers update for Tuesday, July 7, teases that Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth) will demand the truth. Justin just listened in on Jennifer Deveraux (Melissa Reeves) and Hope Brady’s (Kristian Alfonso) discussion, so he knows how much Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) wants Kayla Brady (Mary Beth Evans) back.
Steve gave his blessing and acted cool about the marriage, but it’s not cool with Steve at all! He’s pining away – and that’s something Kayla deserves to be aware of. Once Justin grills Hope and finds out what he heard is right, he’ll have a difficult choice to make. Justin will need to decide if he’s going to come clean or keep his mouth shut.
Later, Hope and Steve will accept their keys to the city. Days of Our Lives spoilers say that’ll give Hope an opportunity to talk to Steve, so she’ll bring him up to speed on Justin’s knowledge.
Steve will be livid, but Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) will think this is a good opportunity. Marlena will push Steve to take matters into his own hands and confess his feelings to Kayla while he still can.
Of course, it’s kind of silly for DOOL to act like this is some big secret! Steve didn’t push Kayla away because he fell out of love. He did it because he felt guilty about all the “Stefano DiMera” chip drama. Steve’s guilt eventually eased up, but now he’s protecting Kayla’s chance at happiness with Justin.
Lack of love has never been part of the equation here. Justin and Kayla know this, but Days is pretending they’re in the dark for some strange reason. However, Steve will determine that he’d better create some distance. Since Steve will assume the wedding’s going to proceed, he won’t want to stick around and watch the newlyweds in the aftermath.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Steve will announce his imminent departure from Salem. Marlena and John Black (Drake Hogestyn) will be taken aback by Steve’s abrupt decision, but his mind will be made up – at least for now. Steve will just think it’s best if he removes himself from the situation completely and catches a flight out of town.
At the mansion, we’ll see some bonding among the Kiriakis men. Sonny Kiriakis (Freddie Smith) already gave Justin a pep talk, but it appears another one’s coming up. Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston) will join in this encouraging chat and hold out hope that nothing will mess up this wedding.
However, it’ll be Justin himself who stops the nuptials later. Justin will object at his own ceremony and prepare to make a major admission. Across town, Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) will have to figure out if he can really sleep with someone else besides Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey).
Xander called for a hooker, but that doesn’t mean he’ll actually accept the services he pays for!
There’s plenty of time for Xander to have second thoughts and send this woman away. Days wants to portray Xander as a big teddy bear – almost like a victim of Sarah’s refusal to forgive. They probably won’t throw away Xander’s one-woman devotion by having him hit the sheets with this hooker.
Naturally, Xander will have some explaining to do either way! Sarah came around the corner and saw this woman heading into Xander’s room at the Salem Inn, so she may be having some second thoughts of her own.
Thanks to Victor, Sarah seemed like she was close to reuniting with Xander. Although Xander’s latest encounter could cause another setback, it looks like a “Xarah” reunion will still happen. Days may deliver another curveball or two, but there’s definitely hope for Xander and Sarah’s future.
