Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers update for the week of August 10-14 tease that we’ll see some startling showdowns and big decisions. First, let’s address the tough situation Allie Horton’s (Lindsay Arnold) facing. Allie needs a new adoptive parent or parents for her child. She doesn’t want to hand her baby over to someone she can’t trust. That’ll become clearer than ever after Allie holds her son.
Due to Allie’s intense bond with her baby, she’ll have a bit of a freak-out. Although Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney) will talk to Allie and assume her daughter’s going to raise the kid herself, that won’t be what Allie has in mind.
Instead, Days of Our Lives spoilers say Allie will get dressed, gather up her stuff and vanish from the hospital. All that’ll be left behind is a note that explains Allie’s choice.
Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) will discover this letter, which will tell everyone goodbye and reveal that Allie wants Nicole Brady (Arianne Zucker) to raise her baby. After all this bonding Allie’s been doing with Nicole, that decision will feel like the right one – at least to Allie. Sami, on the other hand, will flip out and take steps to prevent this from happening.
A search for Allie will get underway, but Sami will also get in touch with Belle Black (Martha Madison) – just in case Allie can’t be found. Sami will pursue all her legal options to make certain Nicole and Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) don’t end up with her grandson.
The good news is Allie will resurface eventually. The bad news is the battle over the baby will get nasty in the meantime!
Other DOOL spoilers say Eve Donovan (Kassie DePaiva) will make it back to Salem with a creepy goal in mind. Eve didn’t go through with all that Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) brainwashing drama for nothing!
Vincent (Michael Teh) has assured Eve that Ben will kill Ciara Weston (Victoria Konefal) – and Eve wants a front-row seat for the emotional turmoil that’ll follow.
However, Eve’s disguise won’t prevent Claire Brady (Isabel Durant) from spotting Eve and recognizing her. Note that the new Claire will be featured here! Days spoilers say Olivia Rose Keegan’s final episode as Claire will air early in the week and the Isabel will step into her shoes by week’s end.
As for what Claire will tell Eve, she’ll naturally try to shut down Eve’s revenge. Claire will assume that Eve wants to kill Ben for what he did to Paige Larson (True O’Brien). When Claire reminds Eve that killing Ben won’t bring Paige back, Eve will be furious. She won’t think Claire has any right to decide how she can and can’t handle this.
Eve probably won’t divulge her true intentions, which involve Ben killing Ciara while under mind control. However, the conflict will get heated as Claire calls Eve pathetic.
Eve will slap Claire, but she’ll also want Claire to keep her return to Salem a secret. Either Claire will say no and then get slapped or Eve will have to apologize after that epic hand to the face!
Ben will be eager to hit the sheets with Ciara for the first time as husband and wife, but they’ll face some snags. Ciara’s exposed neck area will leave Ben feeling strange. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Ben will have a strong desire to kill Ciara, so he’ll feel like he’s losing it.
As Ben panics, Ciara will suggest putting this lovemaking attempt on hold. Ben and Ciara’s night will take a more romantic turn instead as they chat and cuddle. There’ll be some takeout involved – perhaps Chinese food since that’s always been a fun part of their love story.
Ben will hope to shake his murderous thoughts, but a dream will leave him feeling uneasy once again. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Ben won’t be able to recall everything about that dream, but he’ll know it was deeply disturbing.
Ben will accept Ciara’s guidance and plan to have a session with Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) soon – a session that Eve will order Vincent to prevent.
Meanwhile, Gwen (Emily O’Brien) will decide she’s done with Jake Lambert’s (Brandon Barash) games! Gwen gets insanely jealous when Jake so much as looks at another woman. Since Jake consistently finds ways to bond with Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus), Gwen will decide all’s fair in love and war.
Since Gwen’s been getting to know Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn), she’ll decide she wants him in her bed. It’ll mostly just be a reaction to everything that’s going on between Jake and Gabi, but DOOL viewers can still expect Gwen to plant a steamy kiss on Chad.
It’s safe to say Chad will ultimately set some boundaries and remind Gwen that he’s married, but Gwen’s not the kind of gal who’ll care!
Finally, Hope Brady (Kristian Alfonso) and Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) will do some bonding. Rafe will grow closer to Hope, but his exit is coming up soon. Days of Our Lives spoilers say any reunion that might happen won’t last for long.
