Days of Our Lives Spoilers Update: Week of August 24 – Eduardo Warns Gabi & Rafe of Certain Death, Flee Salem – Paige Stuns Eve

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers update for the week of August 24-28 teases that things are about to get hot and heavy between Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus) and Jake Lambert (Brandon Barash).

Gabi will finally confess that she’s attracted to Jake, which he won’t buy. Jake will think Gabi just likes the fact that he looks like her dead husband, Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash).

Despite that being pretty weird, Jake will cave in since he’s attracted to Gabi, too. After Jake kisses Gabi passionately, they’ll fall back on the bed for a hot hookup.

It certainly looks like they’ll go all the way and may decide they want to see where this spark of theirs could lead them. Unfortunately, a shocking return will pump the brakes on Jake and Gabi’s budding romance.

At Rafe Hernandez’s (Galen Gering) place, he’ll be thrown for a loop when Eduardo (A Martinez) shows up. Rafe will pull a gun on an intruder before realizing it’s actually his own dad!

Eduardo will explain the sketchy way he wiggled out of his prison sentence before dropping a bomb on Rafe. It turns out Eduardo got caught up with a rough crowd and now his enemies are targeting the Hernandez family.

Eduardo’s life will be in danger, but he’ll mainly be worried about his kids. Days spoilers say Eduardo will warn that if Rafe and Gabi stay where they are, they’ll face certain death.

It’ll lead to Rafe and Gabi making the difficult decision to pick up and move ASAP. That’ll be the only way they can say alive for now, but DOOL fans can expect Gabi and Rafe to make comebacks down the road.

In the meantime, Eve Donovan (Kassie DePaiva) will be overjoyed by the sight of a smiling Paige Larson (True O’Brien). In disguise at the cemetery, Eve will believe her beloved “Paigey” is alive and well.

Who could blame Eve considering how many people come back from the dead in Salem? Alas, this will just be a vision of Paige, so this will be a fleeting reunion.

Even so, Paige will surely have some words of wisdom to impart. Shortly after Paige’s death, she appeared to her mom and encouraged her to move on. In order to let go, Paige insisted Eve would have to forgive herself.

Eve doesn’t seem to have listened and that’s probably why she’s so focused on making Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) pay. Since Eve wasn’t on good terms with Paige at the time of her death, that’s made all of this even more haunting for her. Eve may need someone to blame other than herself as a coping mechanism.

Of course, Eve does have a reason to blame Ben since he’s the one who strangled her daughter to death. However, Paige might point out that Ben was mentally ill and not in control of his actions – just like Ben’s not currently in control due to Vincent’s (Michael Teh) conditioning.

Paige may not see how this revenge plot is accomplishing anything except more pain and destruction.

Furthermore, Paige might argue that she’s forgiven Ben and feels Eve must as well. Those sentiments would be in line with the Paige we used to know, but we have to remember this is Eve’s vision. Eve may just be imagining what she thinks Paige would say, so it’s tough to know exactly the advice Paige will offer.

Regardless, Eve will end up confessing her plot after she’s arrested by Hope Brady (Kristian Alfonso). This Paige vision may be the reason Eve’s willing to blab.

Days of Our Lives spoilers say Eve will come clean about brainwashing Ben into a killing machine meant to harm Ciara Weston (Victoria Konefal). Eve will also reveal that Ben and Ciara are at Paige’s old dorm room, so Hope will bolt there as fast possible.

Once Hope arrives, she’ll find Ben crying in the corner following a blackout. Ben will apologize repeatedly as he tries to remember the final outcome for Ciara. He’ll recall bits and pieces, but he won’t be certain if he killed Ciara or not. To make matters even more complicated, Ciara’s body won’t be in the shower or anywhere else.

Fortunately, Ciara won’t be dead. She’ll be off somewhere with Vincent, who’ll apparently be holding her hostage. Meanwhile, Belle Black (Martha Madison) will unleash her wrath on Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney).

Nicole Brady (Arianne Zucker) will set that outburst in motion by listening in on Sami’s confession to Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall).

Belle will be disgusted with Sami when she learns her sister acted like John Black (Drake Hogestyn) wasn’t even part of their family. It’ll infuriate Belle to think that those might’ve been the last words John ever hears.

John will remain in bad shape, so that’ll raise the stakes in all of this. Belle will be furious enough to quit as Sami’s lawyer, but Sami will just represent herself instead.

At the custody hearing, Sami will make it crystal clear to the judge that Nicole is an unfit mother. Between her baby switching in the past and all her other scheming behavior, Sami won’t think Nicole’s qualified to be a mom to Allie Horton’s (Lindsay Arnold) baby.

The pot’s calling the kettle black here, but Sami will trash talk Nicole like the only one who’s been problematic.

Days of Our Lives spoilers say Sami will even reveal that Nicole killed Deimos Kiriakis (Vincent Irizarry), so Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) will have to cover for his wife. This will be a giant custody mess, but it should be an entertaining one! We’ll keep you in the loop as other Days news and updates emerge.
