Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers update for the week of November 9-13 teases that some romantic surprises are ahead in Salem. For starters, Belle Black (Martha Madison) will amuse Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) with a marriage proposal. Sometimes it’s easy to forget these two aren’t actually married!
Shawn and Belle never tied the knot again following their split, but Belle will think they should. She’ll score a laugh from Shawn when she gets down on one knee in the Salem PD interrogation room, but Belle will be serious about making another commitment.
It looks like the goal is for Shawn and Belle to remarry on what would’ve been their anniversary if they hadn’t divorced. November 23 is the big day, though down-the-road Days spoilers suggest the ceremony will kick off a bit before that.
Of course, Jan Spears (Heather Lindell) will present plenty of hurdles as Shawn and Belle head back to the altar.
In the meantime, let’s talk about a different romantic surprise. Charlie Dale (Mike C. Manning) is crushing hard on Claire Brady (Isabel Durant), so he’ll bring her a lovely bouquet of flowers and hope for a chat.
Sadly, Charlie will get a terrible surprise of his own when he walks in on Claire making out with Theo Carver (Cameron Johnson).
Claire will feel safe with Theo, so she’ll gravitate toward the familiar and hope they can reunite. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Theo has already moved on and has a new lucky lady in his life. Although Theo will always care about Claire, he’ll think she needs to open her heart to someone else.
Once Theo hears about Claire and Charlie hitting it off, he’ll offer Claire encouragement. Claire will realize she’s letting fear hold her back, so she’ll track Charlie down to talk about their romance.
Unfortunately, Charlie will be battling some heartache over that kiss he witnessed between Claire and Theo. It’ll cause Charlie to act aloof and fuel Claire’s insecurities. Claire won’t know why Charlie suddenly seems distant since she won’t realize he saw the kiss, but she’ll realize something’s up.
Nevertheless, Charlie will get guidance from Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) while Claire gets some from Jan. With any luck, Claire and Charlie should be back on track soon.
As for Xander, he’ll be in real danger. That’s because impatient Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) is about to hit Salem and put some pressure on her secret partner, Philip Kiriakis (Jay Kenneth Johnson).
DOOL viewers may recall some of Philip’s mysterious calls last month, so let’s revisit those now that Ava is confirmed as his ally. On October 7, Philip informed Ava that Xander had been fired. “There’s no one to stand in the way of our plans for Titan,” Philip added.
After Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston) changed his mind and hired Xander back, Philip offered updates once again on October 14. “How the hell am I supposed to move ahead with our plans with that ape in my face 24-7? I don’t know what to do except maybe kill him,” Philip said to Ava over the phone.
Xander has presented a major hurdle for Philip and Ava’s money laundering scheme, but Ava expected Philip to handle this. Since Xander’s still in the way at Titan, Ava will show up to make sure Philip does what she wants.
It looks like Ava will remind Philip that he suggested killing Xander. Ava may wonder what Philip’s waiting for! Naturally, Philip may insist he didn’t really mean it – just like he did when Belle caught him making the threat.
Ava, on the other hand, will be deadly serious. She’ll be fed up over all this wasted time, so she’ll push Philip to get rid of Xander ASAP. Philip will eventually sneak up on Xander with a fireplace poker, but he may not get a chance to actually bash Xander in the head..
Regardless, Days of Our Lives spoilers say Xander will get a clue and suspect he knows who Philip’s secret partner is. Xander may think back on when he helped out with the revived captives at the Nashville warehouse. One of those doors had the initials “A.V.” on it – and Ava recovered behind it.
Other Days spoilers say DA Melinda Trask (Tina Huang) will have some news for Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold). When it comes to filing criminal charges against Tripp Dalton (Lucas Adams), Allie can’t do that in Salem. Since Allie was raped in London, she’ll have to go through the authorities there.
Melinda may be willing to help Allie with this process – and Lani Price-Grant (Sal Stowers) certainly will if Allie needs support. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Allie will indeed want Tripp to face justice, even if it means a London legal battle.
Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) will announce Tripp’s decision later, but he’ll stand by his innocence and plead with Allie not to pursue this any further. Next, we should address Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) and Jennifer Deveraux’s (Cady McClain) crumbling marriage.
Jack will get berated and slapped for sleeping with Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow), but he’ll beg Jenn to listen to the entire story first.
Jack will try to make Jennifer understand that he felt hopeless and thought she might never come back to him. The cheating went down while Jennifer was in a coma, but that won’t matter much to her right now.
All Jennifer will know is she feels betrayed and hurt – especially since she’s just now hearing about this over a year later.
As for Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller), she’ll be held responsible during a tense conversation with her dad. Jack will argue that the whole thing is Abby’s fault, but she’ll be incensed over her father playing the blame game.
Abigail will feel guilty about the pain Jennifer’s in, but she’ll also feel like Jack needs to take responsibility for his actions.
