Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Ciara Weston (Victoria Konefal) could use some help! Fortunately, help is indeed coming – or at least it will be after Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) has a significant memory flash. A session with Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) will fill in some gaps for Ben, so it may give him a hint about Vincent’s (Michael Teh) kidnapping plot and where he might’ve taken Ciara.
Ciara may be rescued in the nick of time, but what does that mean for her future? Just because Ciara’s free doesn’t mean she can happily move forward with her husband. It may not be easy to deprogram Ben – especially since Vincent would probably be the expert on that.
If Vincent is killed or escapes, he won’t be able to undo what he’s done. Even if Vincent’s arrested, he may be uncooperative. Vincent may not be willing to take this killer Ciara instinct out of Ben.
Of course, there are surely other people Ben could turn to. Marlena can assist Ben and put him in touch with any specialists he might need.
Even so, this sounds like a process that might take some time – and Ben may not know how much. Will Ciara have to stay away while Ben’s being deprogrammed?
This seems like the ideal way to keep Ciara off canvas for as long as Days wants. It’d be a flexible, open-ended exit that could be short if Victoria Konefal decides she’d like to return soon – or long if she wants to wait.
If Konefal ends up never returning, the role could always be recast down the road. Once Ben’s recovery is complete, either Konefal’s Ciara or a new version could reenter the mix. Naturally, most fans are hoping Konefal will make a comeback at some point.
Ciara could potentially come visit Ben to see how his deprogramming’s coming along. As long as the visits were supervised, that would be fine.
However, Days of Our Lives spoilers say Ciara may be pretty traumatized from this whole ordeal. Although Ciara adores Ben, maybe it’d be best to put some distance between them – at least for a while.
DOOL fans know Ciara and Ben have been through a lot, so it won’t hurt to rest Ciara’s character and let Ben heal on his own for a bit.
