Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that Jake Lambert (Brandon Barash) doesn’t seem to be who he claims to be. There have been hints all along that Jake may actually be Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash). Dr. Wilhelm Rolf (William Utay) was clearly lying about Jake needing the memory serum, but the part about saving Stefan may be true. Someone else may even be responsible for bringing Stefan back to life.
However, “Jake” absolutely refuses to budge on the idea that he’s Gabi DiMera’s (Camila Banus) “dead” husband. Stefan was crazy about Gabi, so it seems like the only reason he’d lie to her is for her own protection. Jake is on a mission of some sort in Salem, so being around Gabi can’t be helped. Nevertheless, there’s obviously an element of danger here. Just ask Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson)!
Ben was attacked by those thugs, who thought he was Jake and demanded that he hand “it” over. If Jake is actually Stefan, he may think it’s best to keep Gabi out of the mess he’s in. Based on Jake’s pensive looks and flashbacks about Gabi, this is getting tougher by the second.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Vivian Alamain (Louise Sorel) will make a comeback soon, but what role will she play in the story? Does Vivian already know Stefan’s alive or will this lookalike come as a shock to her, too? Regardless, Vivian could ultimately be brought in the loop on this Stefan secret and keep Gabi in the dark.
Stefan and Vivian have been known to keep some secrets together. Vivian was never a big fan of Gabi anyway, so it’s not like she’d be eager to betray Stefan’s confidence. This would be a great opportunity for Stefan to finally have someone to open up to.
Days has been playing up the mystery angle for a while now, but it’d be nice to take a step forward. DOOL could make that happen by having “Jake” come clean to his mom – or talk to her about what she already knows if that’s the case.
It’s easy to imagine Mama Vivian promising she’ll take care of Gabi the harasser. Vivian could pretend she feels no connection to Jake and suggest Gabi’s feeling what she wants to feel. It’d be a good strategy to plant doubts for Gabi and convince her to back off.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Vivian will stir up some interesting trouble, so we’ll see how it all plays out. Will Vivian help “Jake” push Gabi away? Will Stefan’s mom return to serve as backup?
