Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Vivian Alamain (Louise Sorel) is set to make a comeback this spring, but she may already be lurking around town! There are certainly signs that point to Vivian hiding in Salem and spying on or interacting with Jake Lambert (Brandon Barash).
Let’s consider what’s going on with Abigail DiMera (Kate Mansi) right now. Abigail’s been battling hallucinations thanks to a DiMera-developed drug. Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) will dig until he finds out this DiMera connection and once again points the finger at Gabi DiMera (Camila Banus).
Of course, Gabi isn’t responsible. That wouldn’t be much of a DOOL mystery, now would it? Days of Our Lives wants a big reveal, so they’re setting up a twist. With that in mind, we should think about what this scheme’s accomplishing and who it would benefit.
There are potentially three victims here – at least if Chad can successfully convince Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) that Gabi’s to blame. Even if Chad can’t, Gabi’s at least suffering through the heat she’s facing.
Vivian wasn’t a fan of Gabi and would likely want to hurt Abigail as well as Chad. This could be Vivian’s vengeful work, especially since the timing fits with Jake’s sudden appearance.
Everything seems pretty connected. Gabi started sensing Stefan DiMera’s (Brandon Barash) presence just before Jake appeared and Abigail began hallucinating. When Jake showed up, it makes sense that Vivian did, too. Vivian has perhaps been working on the down low to drug Abigail and make her think she’s losing it.
This plot is definitely in line with a character like Vivian – someone ruthless enough to bury Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow) alive! Vivian would have no qualms about making Abby believe she was going out of her mind.
If Vivian is indeed the drugging culprit and the timing is more than a coincidence, then Vivian probably followed Jake to Salem. Does Vivian suspect Jake is Stefan or even know for sure?
Since Days left the door open for Stefan to be pretending, it’s even possible Vivian is his secret confidant. Maybe Vivian is the only one who knows “Jake” is actually Stefan.
Regardless, Days of Our Lives spoilers say Vivian will make a big splash when she first comes back on the scene. It’ll be an even bigger shock to Salem if Vivian’s already been hiding out and causing drama!
