Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for Wednesday, April 8, tease that Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) will face one of the hardest things he’s ever had to do. Since Eric’s decided to reveal the truth about Mackenzie “Mickey” Horton, that means saying an emotional goodbye to his “daughter.”
Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) will remain by Eric’s side for as long as he wants her there. Although Nicole hated telling Eric this secret, she knew Eric deserved to know Mickey is really Rachel DiMera Black.
Eric will plan to tell Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) about the baby swap soon enough, but right now he’ll just focus on his own tearful farewell to Mickey.
Across town, Days spoilers say Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) will stun Sonny Kiriakis (Freddie Smith) with a request. DOOL fans know Xander talked Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth) into officiating at his upcoming wedding.
Will Sonny become part of the wedding party, too? Xander doesn’t have any buddies he can call to be his best man, so he might wonder if Sonny would be willing to do it.
Other Days of Our Lives spoilers say Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) will have a face-to-face confrontation with Jordan Ridgeway’s (Chrishell Stause) killer. Evan Frears aka Christian Maddox (Brock Kelly) is still in lockup, so he’ll be brought to the interrogation room to see Ben. It looks like Evan may actually be apologetic about what Ben went through when he was wrongfully accused.
Of course, Ben will unleash his fury over his own ordeal as well as Jordan’s death. He had his fair share of issues with Jordan, but that wasn’t always the case. Jordan was the only person Ben could really rely on when he was younger. Although Jordan’s mental health declined in recent years, that doesn’t mean Ben stopped loving his sister.
Jordan’s demise was a tough blow for Ben, so he’ll want justice for her. Ben certainly won’t want Evan anywhere near his nephew, David Ridgeway (Caleb and Kyler Ends).
While Ben makes his stance crystal clear to Evan, Kayla Brady (Mary Beth Evans) will run into some trouble during Stefano DiMera’s (Stephen Nichols) surgery. The goal is to turn Stefano back into Steve Johnson, but that’ll be an awfully tricky task.
Dr. Wilhelm Rolf (William Utay) is the only one who’s truly qualified to perform this surgery, so Kayla knows she’s taking a gamble. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Kayla will fear the worst when a snag comes up.
Kayla will make a decision that could mean serious brain damage for Steve if she makes a wrong move, but she’ll feel it’s the right choice in that moment.
The good news is Steve will eventually get back to normal. The bad news is there’ll be a bit of a scare when Steve awakens later this week!
