Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for Wednesday, December 16, tease that Tripp Dalton (Lucas Adams) will be down in the dumps as Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) walks him back to Ava Vitali’s (Tamara Braun) place.
Since Steve will sense that his son could use a pep talk, they’ll stop for coffee in the town square and have a heart-to-heart.
Tripp will undoubtedly feel bad about all the tension with Kayla Brady (Mary Beth Evans). Kayla was nice enough to let Tripp join in Joey Johnson’s (James Lastovic) welcome home dinner, but there was still a weird vibe.
Tripp may wonder if anything will ever go back to normal, but Steve will hope it can one day.
The key is clearing Tripp’s name, so Steve will promise Tripp they’re going to figure this out. Of course, Ava’s already got it figured out based on what she just told Charlie.
DOOL fans heard how Charlie was sent to monitor Tripp in London, which puts him at the scene of the crime last Christmas.
Charlie denied knowing Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) and insisted Tripp must be guilty, but Ava thinks Charlie’s the guilty one instead! She pointed out that Charlie shares a lot of the same DNA because he’s Tripp’s brother.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Charlie and Ava will continue their conversation, so Charlie should face pressure to admit Ava’s got it right. However, Ava and Charlie had better hurry up this little chat since Tripp will be home soon.
Instead of walking Tripp the rest of the way, Steve will embrace his son and bid him goodnight in the square. Tripp will arrive home alone, so will he discover Charlie or will his secret brother sneak out in the nick of time?
It’s worth mentioning that some danger is coming up for Ava by Thursday, but that could easily come courtesy of Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer). It’s possible Charlie will get menacing with Ava, but Xander might be the more likely threat.
Whatever the case, Charlie needs to avoid tipping Xander off to his Ava connection.
Over with Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold), she’ll continue to get the scoop on the new man in Claire Brady’s (Isabel Durant) life. Claire has been gushing about what a great guy Charlie is, so Allie will share a few more laughs with her cousin and insist she’s so happy for her.
Once Allie and Claire wrap up their girl talk, Claire will text Charlie and soar even higher on cloud nine. As for Allie, she’ll have a run-in with Steve before he leaves the town square.
Steve will want to discuss the night of Allie’s assault, so there’ll be some conflict since this obviously isn’t something Allie likes going over again and again.
While Steve gets ready to question Allie about that night, Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) will open up to Brady Black (Eric Martsolf). Days of Our Lives spoilers say Chloe will share her concerns about Philip Kiriakis (Jay Kenneth Johnson).
She may feel like Philip’s hiding more than he’s letting on, so we’ll see how Brady responds.
Next, Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston) will deliver a stern warning. Days spoilers state that Victor will confess he’s onto Philip. He might make it clear that if he finds firm proof of Philip’s dirty Titan tactics, he’ll have no choice but to cut him loose.
