Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for Wednesday, December 23, tease that Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) will get a sentimental gift from someone unexpected. Since Ciara Brady Weston (Victoria Konefal) is presumed dead, Ben certainly doesn’t think he’ll be getting a present from her this year.
However, Ben’s wrong about that since Ciara apparently thought of it in advance. Claire Brady (Isabel Durant) will stop by with a gift from Ciara to Ben – and it’ll be Ben’s ornament for the Horton family free. Since it’s Christmas Eve, it’s time to gather and trim that tree at Jennifer Deveraux’s (Cady McClain) house.
Days spoilers say Claire will give Ben the nudge he needs to come along and put his ornament up – just like Ciara wanted. There’ll be some sweet moments as Ben feels a sense of belonging. DOOL fans can expect some other surprises as the tree-trimming gets underway.
For starters, Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) will leave Jennifer looking somber as she hands over Jack Deveraux’s (Matthew Ashford) ornament. Jennifer is still shutting Jack out, but it’ll be hard for Jenn to get through the holidays without him.
After Jennifer opens the gift Jack offered, she’ll be quite moved by what’s inside.
As for Lani Price-Grant (Sal Stowers) and Eli Grant (Lamon Archey), Days of Our Lives spoilers say things will remain a bit tense between them despite the festive celebration.
However, Eli and Lani’s conflict will have to be put on hold once Lani’s water breaks while she’s trimming the tree. It won’t be long until the parents-to-be are rushing to the hospital for the birth of their twins.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Doug Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) will invite Ben to put his ornament on the tree along with Ciara’s. While grief-stricken Ben tackles that challenge, Doug and Julie will ultimately head over to the hospital with Eli and Lani.
In hopes of promoting peace, Julie and Doug will make some mildly manipulative moves. They’ll take some pictures in Lani’s hospital room as Doug and Julie try to document the whole night. Days spoilers state that Julie and Doug will manage to get Lani laughing along with Eli, so the tension will indeed start to lift.
Lani will ultimately get down to the business of having these babies, but you can expect Lani to still be in labor in Thursday’s episode. As for the rest of Wednesday’s exciting show, Ciara will have one more gift for Ben – if only in his own mind.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Ciara will appear to Ben as he places her ornament on the tree. Ben will get some help with that task and feel Ciara’s touch once again.
DOOL viewers will even see a Christmas kiss for Ben and Ciara, so “Cin” fans will definitely want to tune in. Across town, Nicole Brady (Arianne Zucker) will be disappointed over the person who just showed up on her doorstep. It turns out that person is Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering), so he should be confused by Nicole’s reaction.
Ordinarily, Nicole would love to see Rafe – just like she’d ordinarily love to see Will Horton (Chandler Massey). However, Nicole was disheartened when it was Will at the door, so she’ll be disheartened to see Rafe, too. That’s because Nicole’s expecting Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) to come home for Christmas.
Nicole has the table set and is all dolled up, but there’ll be no visit from Eric this year. There’s a good chance Eric will call and reveal that his flight was canceled or something along those lines.
Fortunately, Rafe will keep Nicole company and munch on some holiday treats in the kitchen. It won’t be the Christmas Nicole wanted, but she should enjoy herself anyway.
