Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for Wednesday, December 9, tease that Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) will react to Chad DiMera’s (Billy Flynn) latest accusation, which probably seems pretty wild to her. Abigail will surely wonder why in the world Chad would think she’s having an affair with Jake Lambert (Brandon Barash).
DOOL viewers know the answer – and it’s because Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) wanted Chad to think that. Gwen has been manipulating things every chance she gets, so now Chad’s suspicions have finally reached a boiling point.
He’ll push Abigail to tell him the truth, so it looks like Abby will insist that nothing is going on with Jake or any other man for that matter. Chad is the only one Abigail wants.
Part of Chad may want to trust Abigail’s claims, but another part of him may remain on edge. It’s the latter part that Gwen may use to her advantage in the coming weeks – that is, of course, unless Chad catches on and manipulates Gwen right back!
Regardless, Gwen will do a little more manipulating of her own in Wednesday’s episode. Jennifer Deveraux (Cady McClain) just showed up in the park and caught the last of Gwen’s poinsettia-smashing meltdown.
Gwen vowed to destroy someone – and we know she was talking about Abigail.
Fortunately, Jennifer is in the dark and can perhaps be convinced Gwen’s referring to someone else. It’d be easy for Gwen to act like she’s holding a grudge against Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus), which would honestly score some points with Jenn.
Gwen and Jennifer might bond over mutual Gabi hatred.
However, Gwen will also do her best to turn Jennifer against her husband on Wednesday. Since Gwen’s furious over Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) forgiving his “precious daughter,” Gwen will hope to at least keep Jack and Jennifer’s marriage torn apart.
Days spoilers say Gwen will rile Jennifer up and plant seeds of doubt about Jack’s faithfulness, even in the present. Gwen will also encourage Jennifer to unleash her anger by taking a whack at those poinsettias herself!
Jennifer will indeed start smashing and may agree that it’s a good stress-relieving strategy.
Meanwhile, Nicole Brady (Arianne Zucker) will corner Tripp Dalton (Lucas Adams) and explode at him. Nicole may blame Tripp for driving Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) to her breaking point with his lies.
Nicole won’t be happy about Tripp being so supportive of Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) either.
Tripp, on the other hand, will praise Ava for saving him from Allie’s gun. How else is Tripp supposed to feel when his mother appeared out of the blue to rescue him? As for Allie, Tripp urged Ava not to kill her during that tense showdown.
He got Allie out of a dangerous situation, but Nicole won’t give Tripp a pass since his assault denial started all this.
Other Days of Our Lives spoilers say Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) will catch up with Allie across town. Rafe got updates on Allie’s rape accusations and Tripp’s denial during Abe Carver’s (James Reynolds) latest visit.
Allie will appreciate it when Rafe checks in and lets her know he’s there to help in any way he can.
Over with Kayla Brady (Mary Beth Evans), she’ll fly into a rage when she spots a very much alive Ava in her own home. Ava will be scantily clad as she slinks around the apartment and casually greets Kayla.
Once Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) fills Kayla in on everything that’s happened, it’ll only add to Kayla’s anger.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Kayla will lunge at Ava, grip her by the throat and start squeezing. That’ll be Steve’s cue to pull Kayla back before she strangles Ava to death – for real this time!
Kayla will be livid over Ava letting Joey Johnson (James Lastovic) stay behind bars for four years, but Ava may suggest she has good news on that front.
Steve already heard the terms of Ava’s deal, but it’ll be Kayla’s turn next. If Kayla agrees not to press kidnapping charges against Ava, then Ava won’t push for Joey to be locked up on new attempted murder charges.
Although Kayla won’t like the idea of Ava continuing to roam around Salem, Joey has to come first. It’ll be an easy choice for Kayla to accept Ava’s deal and ensure Joey’s freedom.
