Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Wednesday, May 20 Recap - Gabi Framed By Rolf - Brady Demands Xander Fired - Ciara Gets Victor's Blessing

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Wednesday, May 20, reveal that Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) and Ciara Brady (Victoria Konefal) met in town square to sample wedding cake. After some back and forth, they settled on the praline with buttercream frosting, then they decided to wed at the end of July, so that Ben had time to get Ciara a proper engagement ring and wedding band.

Ben then took off for work, where he spoke with Jake Lambert (Brandon Barash). Jake thanked Ben again for saving him from Gabi DiMera (Camila Banus), and Ben started to get the impression that Gabi was getting to Jake.

Ben noted that they didn’t even know what was in the syringe, and that he was having his therapist get the contents analyzed at the hospital. Jake decided to head to the hospital and get some answers about the contents of the syringe.

At the hospital, Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston) disconnected from Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth), who was off trying to get Maggie Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers) out of prison. Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) walked in, saying that he just saw Maggie at the prison infirmary, and she was ok.

Victor asked if Xander found Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) to tell her the news about Maggie, but Xander said he couldn’t find her.

Xander then realized that Sarah might have reached out to Brady Black (Eric Martsolf), so he left. Ciara then walked in to see Victor, and after asking about Maggie, Ciara told her grandfather that she was getting married to Ben.

Victor didn’t think it was good news, and he said that Ciara deserved better than the necktie killer. After some considerable back and forth, Ciara got Victor’s blessing, and she happily agreed to stay on at Titan to keep an eye on Xander.

Over in Abigail DiMera’s (Kate Mansi) room, she hallucinated and “saw” Gabi trying to inject her with the contents of a syringe. Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) entered and comforted Abigail, then told her about Gabi trying to inject Jake with some sort of drug.

Lani Price (Sal Stowers) and Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) showed up and Chad said that he wanted Gabi arrested. Chad told Lani and Eli that the contents of Gabi’s syringe was currently being analyzed. Eli and Lani took off to investigate.

Chad then told Abigail about a doctor in Florida that Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) recommended, and Abigail soon learned that she needed to go to Florida for treatment for her hallucinations.

Chad said that he and the kids would go with her, but Abigail refused, saying that they couldn’t pull the kids away from Salem right now. Chad suggested that they leave the kids with Abigail’s parents and got to Florida together. Abigail agreed.

Out at the nurses’ station, Gabi arrived and demanded from Kayla Brady (Mary Beth Evans) that she get her syringe back asap since Ben stole it from her. Gabi explained that she wanted the serum so she could get Stefan DiMera’s (Brandon Barash) memory back, and Kayla tried to tell her that Stefan was dead.

Gabi protested, saying that Jake was Stefan and Wilhelm Rolf (William Utay) said he saved Stefan.

Kayla balked, saying that Gabi was a suspect in Abigail’s drugging, and Gabi proceeded to threaten to sue the hospital. Kayla relented, then went off to check the lab as Eli and Lani waked up wanting Gabi’s statement in her assault on Jake.

Gabi insulted Lani, then Jake walked off the elevator, and Gabi cried out, “Stefan!” Lani reeled at Jake’s appearance. “This is the women who shot you,” Gabi told Jake, pointing to Lani.

Jake said he was there to learn more about the drug that Gabi tried to inject him with. Gabi was thrilled that Jake believed her, and Eli pointed out that the drug could be evidence. Gabi insisted that the drug belonged to her, and Lani asked Jake if he was pressing charges against Gabi.

Kayla returned, saying that she had the lab results, and that the drug in the syringe was the same compound used to drug Abigail. Gabi was stunned.

Back at Jake’s garage, Ben worked alone. Ciara walked in and surprised him, then told him that she got her grandfather’s blessing on their wedding. Ben was amazed. Ben and Ciara hugged and kissed happily.

At the Salem Inn, Sarah woke up in a bed all disoriented and wearing a man’s shirt. Suddenly, Brady walked out of the bathroom shirtless and gave a surprised Sarah some aspirin.

Sarah’s memory of the night before was fuzzy, and it turns out that she had too much champagne and Brady brought her back to the Salem Inn for the night. Brady slept on the couch while Sarah took the bed.

Brady wondered if Sarah was still in on their revenge plan against Victor and Xander, and Sarah sad yes. Brady went to leave to go see Victor and set his revenge plan in motion, and when he opened the door, Xander was standing there.

Xander was horrified to see Sarah lounging on the bed wearing Brady’s shirt. Brady took off, and Xander quizzed Sarah about whether she slept with Brady.

Sarah led Xander to believe that she and Brady slept together, revealing in their conversation that Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) had run away with Rachel Black.

Xander took a moment to absorb that information, and Sarah lashed out at Xander for the baby switch again. Sarah lied, saying that she and Brady turned to each other because of their shared pain, and that it was all Xander’s fault.

Sarah went to shower and told Xander to be gone when she returns. Later, Sarah found Xander still in the hotel room, and she ordered him out. Xander went to leave, then he turned around and said, “While you were sleeping with Brady to punish me, I was saving your mother from committing suicide.”

Back at the hospital, Brady entered Victor’s room while Victor was resting. Victor woke up and told Brady that he didn’t deserve forgiveness and that Brady should say what he needs to say.

“That’s not why I’m here,” Brady said. Victor said that he hoped one day Brady could let him repent now that he had his daughter back. Brady told Victor that Kristen had run off with Rachel, which Victor couldn’t fathom.

Brady yelled at Victor, blasting him for what he’d done. Victor said that he made mistakes out of love, and Brady said that Victor had a funny way of showing love. “Ask me anything, I’ll do it,” Victor said. “Fire Xander,” Brady demanded.
