Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Wednesday, October 7 Recap – Philip In Cahoots With Mystery Person – Claire Makes Tripp Cry

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Wednesday, October 7, reveal that Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston) talked to Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) via phone as Xander and Philip Kiriakis (Jay Kenneth Johnson) sat in the Titan CEO office. Victor said that he was firing Xander since Xander had gotten Jan Spears (Heather Lindell) to accuse Philip of assault.

Meanwhile, over at the Kiriakis mansion, Victor hung up from his call with Xander and Jan walked in the room. Victor blustered at her, but Jan revealed that she was there to see Xander and that Xander had asked her to back off of Philip. Victor wondered if Jan was going to back off of Philip, but Jan refused.

Back over at Titan, Philip gloated and said that he had called a board meeting to let everyone know that Xander’s tenure as Co-CEO was over. Xander took off, peeved.

Meanwhile, in town square, Claire Brady (Isabel Durant) apologized to Charlie Gale (Mike C. Manning) over ruining his shirt. Charlie said that it was the second time today that someone got him with a smoothie.

Charlie explained that he was an intern at Titan, and Claire said that Victor was her grandfather and that she knew Philip and Xander well. Charlie asked for some advice on fitting in at Titan, and Claire cautioned Charlie about how ruthless it was over at the company.

Charlie then asked Claire to get a drink with him after work, and Claire refused because of the death in her family.

Ultimately, Charlie gave Claire her card, saying that now she knew how to get in touch with him. Claire smiled as Charlie headed back over to Titan. Once Charlie returned, Philip told him to clear out Xander’s stuff and dump it all in the trash.

Later, Philip called someone to tell him or her that Xander had been fired. “There’s no one to stand in the way of our plans for Titan,” Philip said.

Meanwhile, Xander returned to the Kiriakis mansion as Jan was leaving. Xander and Victor bickered over Xander’s firing, and Victor agreed that he may have been hasty in letting Xander go. Victor said that he was going to give Xander another chance to work with Philip.

At the police station, Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth) told Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) about Allie Horton’s (Lindsay Arnold) rape allegation against Tripp Dalton (Lucas Adams).

Steve reeled and said that his son would never do this to a woman. Justin balked over taking the case, since Will Horton (Chandler Massey) is his son-in-law, but ultimately he agreed to take the case.

At the hospital, Kayla Brady (Mary Beth Evans) bumped into Nicole Brady (Arianne Zucker) as she was talking to someone via phone about Tripp’s entrance into the medical school program at University Hospital.

Nicole overheard, then told Kayla that there was something she needed to know about Tripp. After learning about Allie’s rape allegation, Kayla wondered when Allie’s memories returned, but Nicole didn’t want to say anything else, and she took off.

Later, Kayla was in her office when Steve came in. Kayla and Steve learned that they each knew about Allie’s allegation against Tripp, and they discussed the different versions of what happened back in London on the day of the alleged rape.

Steve noted that Tripp had turned his life around, and Kayla disclosed that Tripp admitted to planting evidence against Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson). Steve was stunned, but he didn’t think that was evidence that Tripp raped Allie.

Kayla thought that perhaps Tripp was someone who can’t take no for an answer, and Steve was hurt by this. Steve wanted Kayla to give Tripp the benefit of the doubt, but Kayla couldn’t.

Kayla argued that she didn’t want to hurt Steve, but that she didn’t see what Allie would gain by making up such serious charges.

At Nicole’s apartment, Tripp wanted Allie to let him in. Allie initially balked, but she ended up allowing Tripp to come in. Tripp and Allie argued about what happened on that night in London.

Tripp told his version of events, and Allie told hers. Allie seemed stunned by Tripp’s assertion that they didn’t sleep together at all, and by Tripp’s statement that he left his name and number for her to find when she woke up.

As Tripp and Allie were arguing, Nicole came in with Henry Horton (Jayna and Kinsley Fox). Allie took Henry to the other room, and Nicole argued with Tripp, who was still insistent that he’d never force himself on any woman.

Tripp begged Nicole to get Allie to tell the truth. “I already did,” Allie said, returning to the room. Tripp left upset.

Afterwards, Allie seemed unnerved, and she told Nicole that she was surprised by what Tripp said. Allie thought that Tripp seemed genuinely shocked by all of it, and especially by Tripp’s statement that they never slept together at all.

Allie was stunned, since she thought that Henry was proof that something happened that night.

Back in town square, Claire bumped into Tripp and was immediately hostile toward him. “I can’t believe I used to be in love with you,” Claire said. “You were always so respectful of women.”

Tripp tried to explain, but Claire said that she saw Tripp for what he really is. Tripp was in tears as Claire left in a huff.
