Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for the week of December 14-18 tease that the drama’s about to heat up in Salem. First, Joey Johnson (James Lastovic) will get a warm welcome home from Kayla Brady (Mary Beth Evans) and Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols).
Tripp Dalton (Lucas Adams) will spend some time with his brother as well, but there could be some tension when it comes to Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun).
Joey will inevitably warn Tripp about Ava – and Steve will continue to do the same. Nevertheless, Tripp will still end up bonding with Ava as Christmas approaches.
Ava will be over the moon about having Tripp in her life, but she’ll leave Tripp unsettled as her “Patch” obsession becomes increasingly obvious.
As for Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer), he’ll blow his top over Philip Kiriakis (Jay Kenneth Johnson) making moves on Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey). However, Xander will be most angry about Philip’s secret partner!
Days spoilers say Xander will realize Ava is the mysterious “Angela Van de Camp,” so he’ll have to figure out his next move.
DOOL fans can expect some danger for Ava later in the week, so Xander could easily be to blame for that. Then again, Philip could try turning against his partner in crime once the jig is up. Either way, Ava will find herself in a perilous jam to wiggle out of.
Elsewhere, Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) will catch up with Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer), who should be glad Ben’s settled down and no longer plotting revenge.
Even so, the loss of Ciara Brady Weston (Victoria Konefal) has been a difficult one. That goes for both Ben and Shawn, so they’ll bond over their grief in the week ahead.
Next, Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) will pass along some positive updates about Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold). It looks like Rafe will confirm to Nicole Brady (Arianne Zucker) that Allie’s gun-toting mistake is a non-issue.
Allie has been through enough as it is, so it’s great news that she’ll avoid legal trouble.
As for Allie, she’ll be happy for Claire Brady (Isabel Durant). Days spoilers say Claire will be walking on sunshine thanks to her blooming love story with Charlie Dale (Mike Manning).
The more time Claire spends with Charlie, the more she’ll like him. Claire will fill Allie in on how well thing are going, so Allie will be glad to hear it – especially since she’s still having such a rough time.
All the assault drama with Tripp has turned into a real mess, and Allie’s frustrated that Tripp won’t face charges. As for Steve, he’s frustrated because he believes his son is innocent.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Steve will talk to Allie about the night she was attacked in London. Allie will remain certain that Tripp forced himself on her, so Steve will lash out and insist it’s not true.
By the time Steve and Allie’s confrontation is over, Allie will be left with some doubts about Tripp’s guilt. Allie will start to doubt her own memory, so Steve will get inside her head with his outburst.
Next, Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) will eavesdrop and discover some incriminating information. This could lead to more affair suspicions despite Abigail DiMera’s (Marci Miller) outrage over Chad’s accusations.
However, Jake Lambert (Brandon Barash) will only have one woman on his mind in the week ahead – and that’s Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow). Days of Our Lives spoilers say Kate will give Jake an early Christmas present, so he’ll be touched by the gesture.
Over with Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes), she’ll go into snooping mode and dig for some answers. Julie’s mission will be to find out if Kate and Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) are still cheating.
Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo) will think Jennifer Deveraux (Cady McClain) owes it to herself to get the real story, so that’s what she’ll hope to do with Julie’s help.
In prison, Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) will also receive a holiday treat courtesy of Dr. Wilhelm Rolf (William Utay). While Kristen accepts a unique gift, Tony DiMera (Thaao Penghlis) and Anna DiMera (Leann Hunley) will come home for Christmas Eve.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) will push Anna’s buttons and get on her bad side due to some scheming.
