Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for the week of December 28-January 1 tease that some heated confrontations are on the way. For starters, Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow) will make a fierce move against Tripp Dalton (Lucas Adams), which will drag Will Horton (Chandler Massey) into the situation.
Will’s going to intervene before things get out of hand, but Kate will still be hopping mad. As for John Black (Drake Hogestyn) and Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols), they’ll join forces to crack an important case – one that could change everything for Tripp and Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold).
Steve will get John to accept that uncovering the truth would work out well for everyone, so they’ll team up.
Next, Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) will work to score proof against Philip Kiriakis (Jay Kenneth Johnson) while Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) heads to the New Year’s Eve party with Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin).
That’ll bring a platonic kiss between Chloe and Brady that’ll set up some trouble with Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) eventually.
In the meantime, Philip will battle some jealousy and make a major blunder. Chloe will catch Philip on an incriminating phone call and discover his shady Titan secrets.
Over with Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer), who’ll do his best to help out a pal. Xander and Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) have become unlikely friends, so Xander will want to repay Jack for all those times he offered advice.
Of course, Xander is the king of romantic messes, so Jack may be wary of accepting Xander’s guidance. Even so, Jack will listen and hopefully get a useful tip or two.
As for Jennifer Deveraux (Cady McClain), she’ll face a shocking revelation from Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) and then bump into Jack at the New Year’s Eve bash. That’ll spark conflict since Jack will get caught with Kate!
However, it’ll just be a case of bad timing since Jack and Kate are no longer romantically connected at all. Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash) will confess to Abigail, so that’ll lead to Jennifer finding out that Jake and Kate are involved.
The news will spread rapidly and leave Kate upset with Jake for blabbing, so look for Jake and Kate to have a major faceoff.
As for Will, he’ll manage to be with Sonny Kiriakis (Freddie Smith) for New Year’s Eve through the magic of technology. Days of Our Lives spoilers say a video chat will bring help Sonny and Will connect, so they’ll be able to ring in the new year together after all.
Back with Jack, he’ll finally score another chance. Days spoilers say there’ll be a sweet reunion as Jack assures Jennifer he’ll remain completely devoted to her from now on.
Jennifer and Jack will definitely enjoy their reconciliation, but Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) will be busy trying to blow up a different marriage – namely Abigail and Chad DiMera’s (Billy Flynn).
Gwen’s schemes will start coming together as we get closer to a big reveal – one about Gwen’s agenda. Anna DiMera (Leann Hunley) will grow increasingly wary of Gwen and will divulge her suspicions to a couple crucial people.
One is Abigail, who’ll find incriminating proof along with Anna during a trip to Gwen’s bedroom.
Abigail may click the puzzle pieces into place and realize Gwen’s the true drugging culprit. Meanwhile, Jack will listen to Anna’s concerns about Gwen. Anna will be adamant that Gwen’s up to no good and has been for quite some time.
DOOL spoilers state that Gwen will go in for a kiss with Chad and cause some chaos. Chad will fall right into Gwen’s trap – and Abigail will dash off in search of her missing husband. It sounds like Gwen will manipulate the situation so that Abigail finds Chad and Gwen in a compromising position.
At the hospital, Eli and Lani will pick out names for their newborn son as well as their newborn daughter. Unfortunately, the twins will soon be stolen from the nursery, so look for someone to sound the kidnapping alarm after a mysterious character takes the babies.
