Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers preview teases that viewers are in for a special treat as the wedding of Lani Price (Sal Stowers) and Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) gets underway. The new DOOL promo for the week of June 29th is all about the big wedding, which is the first of four weddings this summer on the show. The wedding is set to be a small family affair, but as the DOOL promo reveals, there will be plenty of fireworks to go around!
The promo starts with Eli smiling big at the altar with Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) as the officiant for the nuptials. The wedding will take place at Julie’s Place, with Doug Williams (Bill Hayes) and Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) in attendance, as well as father of the bride Abe Carver (James Reynolds), Lani’s mom Tamara Price (Marilyn McCoo), and Eli’s mom Valerie Grant (Vanessa Williams).
But then the weekly preview warns that viewers should get ready for the fireworks. Lani is heard saying, “You make me feel like the luckiest girl in the world,” and “I can’t wait to love you for the rest of your life.”
There will definitely be some touching moments, but then it seems that everything will break loose. The camera zooms in on Lani, who says, “Oh my God,” as something awful clearly happens.
So, what’s going to happen at this wedding? Well, first off, we should note that DOOL spoilers indicate that the wedding will ultimately take place, and that it will be a lovely ceremony and something that Eli and Lani will remember for the rest of their lives.
But first, there will be a couple of hiccups. First off, it seems that Tamara will take ill and faint during the ceremony.
That will really upset Lani, who will want to stop the ceremony, but Tamara won’t have it. Tamara will ultimately leave the wedding to go lay down, but she’ll insist that the wedding continue on without her.
Next, there will be a wedding crasher. As shown in the promo, someone will burst into the place, with Julie screaming at someone, “What are you doing here?!”
So who is it that’s going to crash the wedding? Well, according to DOOL spoilers, it will be Gabi DiMera (Camila Banus). Now, whether Gabi will know that the wedding was taking place at Julie’s place remains to be seen, but whatever the case, there’s going to be a scene.
Everyone will apparently have words with Gabi, and Lani will be beside herself. After all this talk about having the perfect wedding day, Gabi will be on site to try to wreck things.
But that’s not all – there will be yet another person who shows up to the wedding, and this person will have revenge on her mind. According to Days of Our Lives spoilers, it will be Vivian Alamain (Louise Sorel), who will be hell-bent on making Lani pay for shooting her son Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash).
Vivian will be wilding a gun, and she’ll be ready and willing to murder Lani, right there at her own wedding!
Well, thankfully, Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) will end up coming upon the scene, and he’ll think fast on his feet, telling Vivian that Stefan might still be alive and living in the form of a man named Jake Lambert (Brandon Barash).
That will ultimately get Vivian out of the wedding, and it looks like she’ll get hauled off to the Salem PD. And finally, Lani and Eli will have to make a decision about whether to go on with the wedding.
Fortunately, the wedding will get back underway, and viewers will finally get to see the union of their beloved “Elani.” It should be an exciting wedding with plenty of twists and turns along the way, so don’t miss it!
