Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for the week of May 25-29 tease that some desperate rescues and heartfelt moments are ahead. First, Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) and Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) will move forward with a risky meeting. They’ll speak with Orpheus (George DelHoyo) in hopes of securing John Black’s (Drake Hogestyn) release, but they’ll definitely be in dangerous territory.
Meanwhile, Hope Brady (Kristian Alfonso) will help Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) look for David Ridgeway (Kyler Ends). They’ll search frantically for the missing tot before Rafe gets a bullet pumped in him!
As Rafe bleeds from a gunshot wound, Orpheus will deal with Justin Kiriakis’ (Wally Kurth) wrath. Justin will hold Orpheus at gunpoint at the Salem PD, but it doesn’t look like he’ll fire at him.
Even so, Justin will be fuming over Adrienne Kiriakis’ (Judi Evans) killer. He’ll have a chance to speak his mind while, Will Horton (Chandler Massey) and Sonny Kiriakis (Freddie Smith) enjoy a romantic evening.
Speaking of romance, there’ll be plenty of that going on as Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) asks Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) to marry him. Nicole will happily accept after Eric delivers a touching proposal.
Next, it’ll be Eli Grant’s (Lamon Archey) turn to pop the question. He’ll ultimately slip a ring on Lani Price’s (Sal Stowers) finger after she agrees to become his bride again. Later, Days of Our Lives spoilers say some stunning news will hit hard. We know Lani will learn she’s pregnant soon, so it seems this is when the baby updates will arrive.
DOOL fans can expect Eli to be a proud papa, but Lani won’t be thrilled about her bun in the oven. Days spoilers state that Lani and Eli will face some tough decisions about the future, so that’ll bring another test for their relationship.
Over with Abigail DiMera (Kate Mansi), she’ll bid farewell to her loved ones as she prepares to receive treatment in Florida. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Abigail’s exit is coming up on May 27, so stay tuned.
In the meantime, let’s talk about Ciara Brady’s (Victoria Konefal) crucial question for Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes). Will Ciara ask Julie to officiate her wedding to Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson)? Julie had some issues with Ben early on, but she’s mellowed lately and would probably be on board with that.
As for Ben, he’ll run into more danger. That’ll probably be due to Ben’s connection to Jake Lambert (Brandon Barash), who’s clearly in quite a jam. Those thugs might target Ben again, but Ciara will manage to save Ben from another brush with peril.
Other Days spoilers say Justin will stop by the cemetery to seek permission from his deceased wife. He’ll hope to ask for Kayla Brady’s (Mary Beth Evans) hand in marriage, but he’ll want Adrienne’s approval beforehand. Once Justin talks to Adrienne’s grave, he should feel comfortable enough to move forward with his proposal.
DOOL spoilers state that Justin will indeed get down on one knee at the hospital. Kayla will be stunned when Justin proposes out of nowhere, but it’ll be Steve who’s truly thrown for a loop. He’ll be all set to tell Kayla he wants to be together, but Justin’s bold move will pump the brakes on that.
Over with John, he’ll be free from Orpheus’ grasp. That means John will finally have a chance to explode at Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston) for working with Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) on the baby switch. Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) is John’s son, so John has every right to step up for Brady and let Victor have it!
Elsewhere, Xander will blast backstabber Brady – presumably for stealing back the Titan CEO spot. Since Brady and Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) are plotting revenge, they may continue a romantic charade just to hurt Xander.
That’d be another reason for Xander to lash out, but Xander deserves to suffer since he let Brady and Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) believe their daughter was dead.
