Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Maggie Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers) seems to be at a crossroads. As DOOL viewers know, she was recently driven to attempt suicide because she thought that she was responsible for the car accident that killed Adrienne Kiriakis (Judi Evans) and her granddaughter Mackenzie “Mickey” Horton. Maggie just couldn’t live with knowing what she had done, so she decided to end it all.
Well, the good news is that Maggie was saved just in the nick of time by Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer), who was alerted to Maggie’s plan after Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston) read a goodbye letter that she sent to him.
The whole situation would have been terribly tragic, especially since Maggie wasn’t responsible for the accident. Turns out, the whole thing was caused by Orpheus (George DelHoyo).
We’d like to be able to say that Maggie will have good days ahead of her – and they certainly will be better than if the truth about Orpheus hadn’t come out. But things probably aren’t going to be smooth sailing from here for Maggie.
After all, first she’s got to be released from prison, which could take some time. Hopefully, things will be expedited given that Evan Frears aka Christian Maddox (Brock Kelly) confused to what he and his father did in the moments after the accident.
But even after Maggie is exonerated and released from prison, she’s going to need somewhere to go, and there’s a very real chance that she won’t want to go home to Victor at this point.
Maggie and Victor have had their problems before, but this time things seem to be much more serious. After all, Victor orchestrated a baby switch and inflicted horrible pain onto his grandson Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) in order to save Maggie from knowing that she had killed her own granddaughter.
Maggie certainly doesn’t find Victor’s actions understandable, or acceptable. In fact, she’s horrified with what Victor did, and who knows if she’ll ever be able to forgive him.
Maggie might not want to go back to the Kiriakis mansion ever, and she could want a fresh start on her own. Might Maggie finally ask Victor for a divorce after all these years of marriage? Perhaps Victor has finally gone too far, and Maggie will say she’s done.
But where will Maggie go at this point? One option is that Maggie could move back into the Horton home, or perhaps she’ll do what everyone else in Salem does and move into the Salem Inn for a while.
Even if Maggie does think that she might go back to Victor eventually, she might want to get her bearings on her own while she decides what to do.
We’ll see what happens here, but we suspect that Maggie will have some big decisions to make in her life, and that she might want to get a clean break from Victor and all of his manipulations.
Do you think that Maggie will divorce Victor once she’s released from prison? Stay tuned to DOOL and don’t forget to check CDL often for the latest Days of Our Lives spoilers, daily recaps, and news.
