Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Gabi Hernandez (Camila Banus) is presumably off making a new life for herself somewhere. DOOL fans know Eduardo Hernandez (A Martinez) showed up out of the blue and warned his children about grave danger.
Gabi and Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) were forced to lie about leaving town to be with their sick mother in Mexico, but no one knows where they really ended up.
Gabi is likely living under another name in hiding and has no idea whether she’ll ever be able to return home. Of course, Days viewers know Gabi and Rafe are both headed back to Salem eventually, but the characters aren’t in the loop.
As far as Gabi’s concerned, this is her new life now. It’d be reasonable for Gabi to try to make the best of it by finding someone to date.
That’s especially true since Gabi was heartbroken over saying goodbye to Jake Lambert (Brandon Barash). They had just decided to see where things might lead between them, but Eduardo’s threat changed everything.
Gabi opted to act like she was just using Jake and pretended he didn’t really mean anything to her. Jake wasn’t entirely convinced, but he did back off – which was Gabi’s goal.
However, knowing she hurt Jake has probably been rough on Gabi. She’s surely been lonely without Jake as well, so that’s something else to keep in mind. Gabi also lost her shot at regaining control of DiMera Enterprises and was forced to cut off contact with her daughter, Arianna Horton (Sydney Brower).
When Gabi left town, Eduardo had turned her life into a total train wreck.
Has Gabi really just been trying to cope on her own? It’s possible, but it’s equally possible that Gabi’s got a new man in her life – someone who might come back to Salem with her once Eduardo’s threat is eliminated.
That’d be a great twist in Jake and Gabi’s love story. Just imagine Jake’s joy over Gabi’s return – quickly followed by jealousy over the new guy on her arm!
Maybe Gabi found someone who was smooth and sophisticated like Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash). He might be a stark contrast to Jake Lambert. Then again, maybe Gabi could bring home a new man who’s comically similar to Jake.
Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) is like the British version of Gabi, so maybe Gabi should bring home some Latin lover who’s basically Jake with a different accent.
Regardless, Days of Our Lives spoilers suggest Gabi doesn’t usually stay single for long. She’s undoubtedly keeping herself busy off canvas, so perhaps a new man will come along once Gabi lands back in Salem. Do you think it’d be good to give Jake some competition?
