Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that a death will be acknowledged in Salem. DOOL’s been promoting all the looming nuptials as part of their “four weddings and a funeral” theme, but they’ve been staying tight-lipped about the funeral part. Who’s going to die? Let’s consider a new option that’s emerging.
At Lani Price (Sal Stowers) and Eli Grant’s (Lamon Archey) wedding, everyone gathered will get a shock. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Lani’s mother, Tamara Price (Marilyn McCoo), will suddenly faint.
After Tamara’s collapse, Lani will rush to her mom’s side. Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) and Valerie Grant (Vanessa Williams) will also express concern as they stoop down to help.
Tamara will remain a bit weak once she regains consciousness, but she won’t want to spoil Lani and Eli’s big day. Lani will worry about her mother, but Tamara will insist everything’s all right.

If Days was already going to have Gabi and Vivian causing trouble, why did they even need Tamara’s collapse?
The obvious answer would be because there’s a deeper reason than just another wedding obstacle. After all, people don’t usually faint because they’re perfectly fine! Days spoilers say Tamara will admit she’s not feeling well shortly before she keels over. There has to be some explanation for that.
Here’s what we know about the funeral so far. Days spoilers hint that it’ll be a small gathering and won’t have a huge effect on the canvas. The whole thing will be fairly minor when you consider the big picture.
However, that doesn’t mean it’ll be minor to Lani! Tamara might be a contender for the character set to suffer a grim fate.
Could Tamara be battling a serious terminal illness? It’s possible Tamara simply doesn’t want to tell Lani because that’d put a damper on her nuptials. “I’m dying” isn’t really what you want to tell your daughter on her wedding day.
Then again, Tamara may not even know what she’s up against. Perhaps Tamara’s illness could be something that strikes out of nowhere. Either way, it’s concerning that Tamara’s leaving the ceremony and heading off by herself. Could Tamara be found dead in her hotel room eventually?
This all sounds incredibly traumatic, but it’d give Lani and Eli some gripping material. DOOL seems to like piling problems on this couple, so we could see the show killing off Lani’s mom. There’s no guarantee that’s what’ll play out, but it’s wise to keep the option in mind until there’s funeral confirmation.
