Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) is in a pretty bad situation with Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey). As DOOL viewers know, Xander has spoken to Sarah since she’s been on the run with Rachel Black and Sarah nearly allowed Xander to help her. Xander offered to meet Sarah abroad with fake identities for the three of them so they could run away together, but Sarah ultimately nixed that idea.
Sarah just doesn’t trust Xander anymore, not after she found out that he was behind the baby swap along with Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston). And frankly, it doesn’t seem like there’s anything that Xander could possibly do to ever make it up to Sarah.
Sarah is beyond furious with Xander for allowing her to fall in love with Rachel thinking that she was Mackenzie “Mickey” Horton. Is there any way that Xander could ever be redeemed in Sarah’s eyes? Well, we can think of one way, and it all has to do with some clues that were recently given on the show.
When Evan Frears aka Christian Maddox (Brock Kelly) was talking with his dad Orpheus (George DelHoyo), Orpheus mentioned a big secret that had to stay between them, all about something they did. Around that same time, it was specifically mentioned that Evan’s sister Zoey Burge (Kelly Thiebaud) had children.
Days of Our Lives spoilers revealed that Zoey could have given birth at University Hospital on the same night as Sarah and Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk). And if that’s the case, then it’s always possible that the baby that died that night belonged to Zoey, and not Sarah.
Of course, CDL has explained for you exactly how a double baby switch could have occurred and resulted in everyone initially believing that Kristen’s baby died and later came to believe that Sarah’s baby had died. It’s a bit mind-boggling, but this is Days of Our Lives that we’re talking about, so anything’s possible!
At any rate, let’s assume for a moment that Sarah’s baby is alive and currently living with Zoey. We can think of no better way for Xander to redeem himself in Sarah’s eyes than to be the one to discover that little baby Mickey is actually alive, then be the person to finally put Mickey back in Sarah’s arms. It’s really the only means that Xander’s got at this point to smooth things over with Sarah.
