Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Philip Kiriakis (Jay Kenneth Johnson) will keep pushing and pushing until Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) snaps. Of course, that’s exactly what Philip has in mind. Philip wants to be seen as the smooth businessman who knows what he’s doing, but he hopes Xander will look barbaric and out of control.
Since Xander’s plots keep ending in disaster, Philip’s plan is working so far. Thanks to Victor Kiriakis’ (John Aniston) decision to fire Xander, Philip will once again have the upper hand – at least in terms of this career competition.
However, Philip hates Xander’s guts and no doubt thinks Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) would be better off with just about anyone else. Philip may resolve to make sure Xander loses Sarah as well. Even if he doesn’t, DOOL spoilers say Philip’s still going to enjoy pushing Xander to his breaking point.
There’s no word on exactly what that means for Xander, but it could spell trouble for his relationship with Sarah. Xander promised Sarah that she mattered most to him.
Sarah’s counting on Xander to leave his wicked ways in the past, but it doesn’t sound like that’s going to happen. The writing’s on the wall for Xander to cross the line and get dumped – at least for a while.
If that happens, could Days plan to pair Xander up with someone else in the meantime? Could Xander and Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) be on a collision course? After all, there aren’t a ton of great options for Gwen on canvas – not legitimate ones anyway.
No matter what drama Gwen creates at the DiMera mansion, she won’t succeed in breaking Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) and Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) up forever. “Chabby” is endgame!
Likewise, it’s obvious Jake Lambert (Brandon Barash) is meant to be with Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus). It’ll take some time, but Jake and Gabi will find their way back to each other.
Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) is too focused on Ciara Brady Weston (Victoria Konefal) to start dating again anytime soon and doesn’t like Gwen anyway.
Who will be there for Gwen once her plot to destroy Abigail blows up? Gwen may achieve some sort of temporary victory, but she’ll still be alone at the end of the day.
Perhaps Gwen and Xander could commiserate over their schemes not turning out the way they wanted. Xander and Gwen might find a no-judgement zone – possibly even in Xander’s bed!
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Xander may have no hope if Sarah dumps him again, so that could open the door to a Gwen romance.
