Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that some flashbacks will provide a revealing look at the past. DOOL’s going to deliver a special week of missing time jump bombshells. January 20-24 will bring five stunning episodes, which will cover that “horrible night” that’s been talked about repeatedly.
There’ll be a lot going on, but Mackenzie “Mickey” Horton’s birth will certainly be an important part of these flashbacks. Before we get to that, let’s set the stage. On Mother’s Day, Sarah suddenly finds herself in labor and in need of help.
It seems Adrienne Kiriakis (Judi Evans) ends up in the right place at the right time to offer it – most likely in the form of a ride to the hospital.
Unfortunately, Adrienne’s luck then takes a terrible turn. She’ll eventually lands in the wrong place at the wrong time, which leaves her in drunk Maggie Kiriakis’ (Suzanne Rogers) deadly path.
It sounds like Maggie may have hit Adrienne’s car – killing Adrienne and leaving Sarah in even more distress.
Will Horton (Chandler Massey) gets framed for the incident, but let’s focus on the baby drama. In the flashbacks, Days of Our Lives spoilers say Sarah panics since she needs to have this baby, but a doctor’s nowhere in sight.
Luckily, that’s where Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) comes in. He serves as Sarah’s hero when he steps up to bring Mickey into the world.
After Xander delivers Sarah’s baby, another round of awful news may hit. Sarah mentioned how bad things got that night and suggested she could’ve lost Mickey. Xander reassured Sarah that it all worked out, but how exactly did that happen? A baby swap probably went down after the real Mickey started fading fast.
Whether Xander was behind that switch or someone else was to blame, Days may offer details during this week-long flashback extravaganza. Kristen DiMera’s (Stacy Haiduk) world falls apart in her own flashbacks, which cover her child’s birth and the complications that follow.
One of those complications may have been having her baby stolen and replaced with Sarah’s dying daughter!
