Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Tripp Dalton (Lucas Adams) will soon cross paths with Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) and wind up heavily involved in her storyline. However, that doesn’t mean it’ll be for the reason you might think!
Although DOOL should make Tripp look like the father of Allie’s baby, there may be another explanation for Tripp’s involvement.
Based on Allie’s fear of coming clean, the true “baby daddy” seems horrible. Allie’s been fretting over how everyone she’s close to would react if she revealed the father’s identity – and she’s adamant about keeping him out of the picture.
That sounds like a bad guy that Allie doesn’t want connected to her child, not someone like sweet Tripp.
What if the real goal of tying Tripp to this storyline is so he can pose as the father? Days writers have a couple of ways they could take this. One is that Allie might decide Tripp is a better alternative than the real “baby daddy” and dupe him. Since Tripp and Allie seem to have slept together in London, it wouldn’t be hard for Allie to sell that story.
Allie might even get Claire Brady (Isabel Durant) to fall back into old scheming habits with some paternity results tampering. Claire might be willing to help Allie hide the truth about her baby’s father – especially if he indeed turns out to be someone horrible like Evan Frears aka Christian Maddox (Brock Kelly) or someone equally awful.
If Allie was raped, that’s something Claire would certainly have sympathy over. Claire saw firsthand what Ciara Brady (Victoria Konefal) went through after Chase Jennings (Jonathon McClendon) raped her, so Claire would want to be there for Allie in any way she could.
Now that Claire’s hanging around Jan Spears (Heather Lindell), Days is setting Claire up to do some plotting again. It’d be a great secret if Claire and Allie scheme to make Tripp think he’s the father – believing it’s what’s best for the baby.
Days of Our Lives spoilers point to an emotional story involving Allie playing out in the months ahead, so that could easily involve a baby medical crisis. If Tripp is tricked into believing he’s the “baby daddy,” the truth might come out through the kid’s blood type or something related to a donation he needs.
Whatever the case, this storyline doesn’t seem as simple as Tripp being the father and that’s that. There’ll be more going on in this hot plot, so Tripp might be duped into thinking he’s the “baby daddy.” We’ll pass along updates as other DOOL news becomes available.
