One week after delivery, Karen is dressed and sitting on the bed. Deon walks in, it is time for Karen to go home. Her feet are swollen, Deon says that she needs a wheelchair. Baby Dawsyn has a hole in her heart, so she has to stay in the hospital and can’t go home until she has heart surgery, the other two, De’Aren and Dyver can’t go home yet either.

Karen walks in the door and the children are so excited, Karen is crying, she missed the children. It’s been a long six weeks. The kids perform a song for her and tell her that they miss her. Deniko wants to see the babies, so do the other children. Some of the kids are worried about Karen, Deon assures them that she is going to be fine.

Eleven days after delivery, Karen is doing the quintuplets’ hair. Deon is getting the boys ready, they are all going to the baby shower for the triplets. Karen comes down the stairs with a crown on her head and Deon says she is the queen for the day. Karen shows up for the baby shower, family, friends, and hospital staff are in attendance. She thanks two of her nurses for taking good care of her. All the kids are having fun, Deon and Karen sneak out for a bit to visit the triplets. Deon can’t believe that they lost a baby and now Dawsyn needs surgery and they could lose her, he is terrified and so is Karen.

Every three hours Karen is pumping milk and then taking it to the hospital, she feels like she is being pulled in both directions. They have so much on their plate right now. Deon’s mom was there to help, but she had to go home. Karen is not happy about having a nanny, Deon thinks she has to get adjusted to some kind of help because it is tough for them.

Karen visits the babies and nurses them. She would love to have Deon with her, but he can’t, he has to stay home with the children. Knowing that Dawsyn has to have surgery, her stress level is at ten.

The girl Quintuplets have a play date, Karen brings them to have fun with girls who are in their swim group. Karen tells her friend that she is looking for a Mrs. Doubtfire. Karen doesn’t even know where to start, and she doesn’t know if that person exists that can do everything that she wants done. Karen gets a call, De’Aren is ready to come home.

Karen gets home with De’Aren and the children are elated to see her. Karen tells Deon that Dawsyn’s surgery is going to be this week. Karen doesn’t want to think about the surgery, it’s the quintuplet’s birthday tomorrow and she wants to focus on them.

The quintuplets are six years old, Karen and Deon are surprising the whole family with a trip to go bowling together. The kids have so much fun, Karen and Deon love seeing how excited they are. Deon pulls a strike and the boys are thrilled. They ordered the quint’s favorite meal for lunch, wings, and pizza. Jessica joined the family for the birthday and Karen was thankful, it gave her more time with the quints.

Deon got a call that Dyver was ready to come home, he rushes to the hospital and brings him home. The children are so excited.

It is the day of Dawsyn’s surgery, Karen has to be alone at the hospital so Deon could stay with the children. This surgery is scary for everyone, but Karen feels her job is to make Dawsyn feel at ease.
