Tonight on ABC their new legal drama For Life inspired by the life of Isaac Wright Jr. airs with an all-new Tuesday, November 18, 2020, episode, and we have your All Life recap below. Aaron is in the car, he tells Marie that everyone was cheering him on the way out. At home, the family is preparing a welcome home party for Aaron. Jasmine is super stressed and Ronnie tells her that everything is not going to be perfect. They arrive, the neighbor asks where Darius is, Marie says he moved out, the neighbor looks at Aaron and says just in time.
Aaron walks in the door and he meets his grandson named AJ, Jasmine is a mother. They sit down to eat, Aaron tells Jasmine he can’t believe she made all this food. Marie has taken a vacation, so she is at home for the time being. Aaron hears police sirens and looks distraught. Then he says he is going to go see Jamal’s sister regarding a case.
Aaron’s new parole officer questions why he was put on the case, his boss tells him it is because he is the best and he is staying on top of him because he is very crafty getting himself off.
Marie got Aaron a few things to wear until he
goes shopping himself. She says she has to get him to the DMV and she downloaded uber so he can get around, as well as walking around money until he gets an ATM card. She asks him to crash on the couch if that is ok. He says it is a king-size bed compared to what he is used to. Marie leans in for a kiss and then goes upstairs. Aaron turns off the light, lies down on the couch, and gets comfortable for a good sleep.
The next day, Aaron goes outside and just soaks up the freedom. He returns inside and makes breakfast, he sees his daughter but has to blink because at first, he sees her little. He asks her how is school, she said it is fine, she does all the work at home and there are no hiccups. He says he is proud of her, she says she is proud of him. Aaron then goes to open a bag with the belongings he had on when he went to prison. He opens up the cupboard of clothes that Marie bought him and sees some old running shoes.
Aaron then goes to see Jamal’s sister regarding his case, he tells her that he had a bad lawyer. He says he needs to prove that Tony, her ex-boyfriend was violent, he would need an affidavit from her, she says she will think about it. Marie calls Aaron and doesn’t reach him, she leaves him a message that she is checking in on him and wanted to know what he wants for dinner.
Henry tells Arron that Spencer Richardson wants to meet with him, he agrees. Spencer says he has no good reason to trust him, he is a powerful man and used it to hurt him; he knows he made a mistake. He can’t make things right, but he can offer him something to make the next chapter of his life fulfilling. He asks him what he wants to do, Aaron says he wants to spend time with his family. Aaron says he is doing pro-bono cases, Spencer wants him to do more meaningful cases that will get him paid. Spencer reminds him that he needs to make money, he gives him a letter of offer.
Aaron gets ready to leave, Spencer tells him that next time he would love to show him his facilities, Henry smiles. Henry and Aaron is in the car, he tells him that he is excited about working together. Then he tells him that he knows he is bumped out about Jamal’s sister, he doesn’t mind being a sounding board. Next, Aaron knocks on a door, and behind him is his probation officer, Scotty Williams. Aaron says the first appointment isn’t until tomorrow, Scotty says his job is to show up whenever he wants to, to keep him on his toes.
He informs Aaron that he has to evaluate his whole living conditions starting with his housing environment. Scotty asks where he is sleeping, he says on the couch for now. In addition to the random visits, and meet twice a week. Curfew is 10 pm, no alcohol and he has to clear his meetings with him in advance. He tells Aaron to stay away from Jamal’s sister and her girlfriend. Next, he wants to know what he is doing to get a job. And if he doesn’t agree to the terms, he shouldn’t have agreed to the probation.
Aaron goes upstairs, pours himself a bath, and gets changed. Afterward, he looks around the house, at pictures, and looks sad.
Aaron asks Marie for a key to the house, she says yes. Then he tells her that he is not giving up on Jamal. She asks him about the offer from Spencer, he says it is a tough one. He says he became a lawyer for himself and doesn’t need anyone to prop him up. She reminds him about the money, it will help with Jasmine’s school and the baby. He tells her to let him think about it. Aaron calls Georgia, tells her that he wants to speak to her.
Marie is in bed asleep, she goes downstairs and finds Aaron with the baby. They both start singing a song that they sang to Jasmine when she was little.
The next day, Aaron goes to see his parole officer who tells him that they can arrange for him to live at a halfway house if that would work better, Aaron says no. Then he asks him if he is staying away from Georgia and Dirk, Aaron shows him his phone to look at a text, Georgia is not answering him. He says Georgia was arrested, stay away from her.
Aaron goes to find Georgia in a cell, he asks her if she has a lawyer, she says she is taking a public defender. He tells her that he can help, but she has to testify, she doesn’t want to, she says she doesn’t want to be responsible for anyone else being in prison.
In court, Aaron is defending Georgia. He says the cops showed up on a domestic violence call and snooped around to find something to charge her with. He says he already put her in a drug program, he shows the judge emails where she has already been accepted. The judge says she is happy to see Aaron practicing and will see him again, he gets Georgia off.
Aaron is home, Maria got a Chinese take-out. She tells him that Spencer called, she told him that they were thinking about it. Maria and Aaron get into an argument, she says she doesn’t know what he is thinking. Aaron says Spencer is the cause for him getting put away in the first place. Aaron gets upset and walks out of the room, he sees his daughter feeding the baby and tells her he is sorry, he needs some air, he leaves.
Aaron goes to see Spencer, he tells him that he wants independence. Spencer says he is offering him a chance to make a difference on a real scale. Aaron wants to make things right his way. Spencer tells him that he is going to give him a case, follow it all the way through, he can have half of his real offer. Aaron tells him that it is fair.
Aaron is about to go over the documents when he gets a call from Jamal on a burn phone. He tells him that he is on his way to helping him to get out. He will do what ever he can, Jamal thanks him. Jamal tells him that he is like the superhero in prison, people can’t believe he is not there anymore.
Aaron arrives at home, he goes inside and knocks on Marie’s door. He apologizes for missing dinner, he says he made a compromise, he still gets a salary, and he gets an office away from him. He has to do one case, then he gets to focus on his cases in helping families. She says sorry for the night before, she is scared and she doesn’t want to lose him again. He says she won’t, ever.
