General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that some romantic shuffling has already been happening in Port Charles, but there could be many more to come. There are several pairings that seem poised to be torn apart, so let’s look at four brewing breakups. Here are some major couples that are probably going to crash and burn when new episodes return!
1. Maxie and Peter
Although Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) is pregnant with Peter August’s (Wes Ramsey) baby, that doesn’t change the horror Peter’s secretly unleashed. In fact, Maxie’s probably only going to be more determined to keep Peter away! Protecting the baby will be Maxie’s priority. After all the lies Peter’s told and awful things he’s done, Maxie will surely dump Peter following his exposure.
2. Jordan and Curtis
Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole Henry) and Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) have had a good run, but they’ve grown a bit stale lately. It seems like it’s time to shake things up – and GH created the perfect opportunity by introducing Curtis’ former flame to the canvas. Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) just might capture Curtis’ heart again down the road.
Since Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla) is likely Curtis’ daughter after all, it’s a no-brainer to put Portia and Curtis together. They can hopefully become one big happy fam at some point. If Jordan and Curtis divorce, Portia may be waiting to kick off a new chapter with her ex.
3. Molly and TJ
Much like Curtis and Jordan, Molly Lansing-Davis (Haley Pullos) and TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) are another pairing that’s lost its luster. Between recasting TJ and giving his couple no real drama for years, they’ve been written into a corner. Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) is an easy path out of that corner since Molly slept with him and is keeping the news a secret.
TJ could easily break up with Molly for lying to him, especially since there are some underlying trust issues and differences of opinion. The truth is Molly and TJ may have outgrown each other. They’re maturing and each one’s personal growth is affecting their joint journey. It might be best to let TJ and Molly head down their own paths now.
4. Anna and Finn
It feels like Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) have been trying to jumpstart their future forever, but have they ever really gone anywhere? This romance doesn’t feel any deeper than it did in the beginning. General Hospital spoilers suggest that all the delays and hurdles could catch up with “Fanna” in the end, so this wedding may not pan out!
