General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that couple wars are a huge thing on social media. There’s always a fierce debate about which characters should be paired up! It’s fun to mull over romantic futures and hope for new ships, so let’s talk about some pairings to root for. Here are five couples that need to happen ASAP.
1) Maxie and Brando
There are surely a few Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) and Peter August (Wes Ramsey) shippers out there, but Maxie deserves better than this lying murderer. Free Maxie!
GH has obviously been chem testing Maxie with Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) – and the results have been both cute and sizzling. Maxie has a nice vibe with Brando that could turn into something really wonderful once Peter’s out of her life.
2) Robert and Olivia
Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) is a married woman, but she’s not the one who cheated. Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) is keeping his betrayal a secret, so Olivia will need someone to lean on when it all blows up. Robert could easily be that someone, which could open the door for an even stronger bond with Olivia.
The truth is Ned and Olivia will probably work things out, but we wouldn’t mind if Robert and Olivia became a bona fide thing! Their Monte Carlo adventure was a blast and left plenty of General Hospital viewers wishing Olivia would actually end up with Robert – at least for a while.
3) Obrecht and Dr. Kirk
Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) is obviously manipulating Dr. Kirk (Christopher Cousins) and doesn’t return his feelings, but why not? Dr. Kirk is an attractive doctor who’s putting his career on the line for Liesl and going to great lengths to prove his love.
It seems silly for Liesl to think he’s a “swine” when he’s the perfect man for her. Maybe Obrecht will change her mind by the time the mission’s over!
4) Chase and Sasha
General Hospital seems to be going with Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) and Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Briana Lane) as a new couple, but Brook Lynn has other options on canvas. Many GH fans are holding out how that love will bloom between Chase and Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson).
It’d be reasonable after Sasha’s inevitable overdose and would certainly complicate this whole situation with Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) and Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell). Since this mess started because of Chase and Sasha’s fake affair, it’d be interesting to see them begin an actual relationship.
5) Kristina and Anyone
Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Lexi Ainsworth) desperately needs a new love interest and a life of her own. Although Kristina hasn’t been around much lately, this is the ideal opportunity to get her back in the action and let her find new love.
Give Kristina someone! Anyone! Kristina’s last real storyline was all the Dawn of Day mayhem, so she’s long overdue for a fresh love story.
