General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) will face a shocker during the week of January 4-8. Once Anna gets updates on the treatment Franco Baldwin’s (Roger Howarth) receiving, she’ll want more information.
It sounds like Liesl Obrecht’s (Kathleen Gati) attempt to help Franco could come to light and lead to trouble for Dr. O.
Later, Anna will have another chat with Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) and fish for information on what went down at that WSB facility in Geneva. General Hospital spoilers say Dante will face a flood of questions, but we’ll see how much he actually divulges.
Even if Dante keeps things close to the vest, it’s clear that Anna will become quite the super snooper in the coming weeks. In the end, Anna may put it all together and realize Liesl intends to use Dante for revenge on Peter August (Wes Ramsey).
If Anna puts Liesl’s revenge in jeopardy, we certainly wouldn’t be surprised if Obrecht locks Anna up. After all, it wouldn’t be the first time Liesl’s held someone hostage. Obrecht even held Peter hostage at that cabin once upon a time, so maybe it’ll be Anna’s turn soon!
GH writers have the prime opportunity to pull off another twin switcheroo here. If Liesl kidnaps Anna to stop her from botching the whole Peter takedown operation, it could leave Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) without a bride for his big day.
We can’t forget a double wedding’s ahead for Finn, Anna, Peter and Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms), but what happens if Anna’s nowhere to be found? Finn might worry Anna got cold feet when in reality she’d be captive and at Liesl’s mercy.
Obrecht would like to get some payback on Anna as well, so this would suit her just fine. However, Liesl probably wouldn’t count on Alex Devane Marick (Finola Hughes) coming back from the “dead” just in time to take Anna’s place at the ceremony.
Alex could use this as the perfect chance to tell Peter the truth about her bio mom status – but not before she poses as Finn’s blushing bride, Anna!
