General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that two characters’ stories have suddenly come to a screeching halt. First, Julian Jerome (William deVry) kidnapped Wiley Quartermaine-Corinthos (Erik and Theo Olson) for Nelle Benson Jerome (Chloe Lanier) and then nearly murdered his new wife down on the pier.
Now that Nelle’s out of the picture, Julian’s marriage problems are solved. All Julian has to worry about his keeping his mountain of crimes under wraps. In other words, there’s nothing much left for Julian to do.
Julian’s storyline abruptly ended with Nelle’s presumed death, disappearance or whatever outcome you’re buying at this point.
It seems like a sure thing that Nelle survived and will come back down the road. That might pull Julian back into Nelle’s drama, but what’s he going to do in the meantime?
Julian could also use a love interest, especially since Nelle wasn’t a real one. This is the perfect opportunity to begin a new romance for Julian – or reignite an old one.
That brings us to the second GH character whose storyline abrupted ended. Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) was horrified when she reconvened with Neil Byrne (Joe Flanigan) to find him dead.
They’d just spent some time joking and laughing about their future the night before. Once Alexis was forced to accept Neil’s demise, she lamented losing a good man who didn’t lie to her.
Alexis talked to Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) about how long she’d waited for a guy like Neil. Now that Neil’s gone, Alexis is probably wondering if she’ll ever find another man like him.
This was a devastating blow to Alexis and her love life. It’s the kind of thing that could make Alexis throw in the towel on finding a good man entirely!
Alexis might determine that nice guys just aren’t meant for her. She might turn back to bad boys instead – one bad boy in particular by the name of Julian Jerome! This is General Hospital’s chance to set up a steamy “Julexis” reunion. Maybe a smoking hot hookup could be on the horizon.
