General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that some major shockers are coming up. According to Highlight Hollywood, Constance Towers is set to reprise her role as Helena Cassadine during February sweeps. Of course, that probably means Helena will appear in more flashbacks – just like in her last stint when the bomb dropped about her old partnership with Peter August (Wes Ramsey).
Whether Helena’s dead or alive, there could be another Peter-related big reveal brewing. Since Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) insists that Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) is Helena’s son and not a true Cassadine, GH could plenty of drama from that.
If Nik’s claims are proven accurate, it opens up a world of possibilities about Valentin’s past. Could Valentin and Peter be half-brothers?! It’s a possibility to consider since Helena was madly in love with Cesar Faison (Anders Hove) once upon a time.
Faison is Peter’s father, so that’d make him a half-brother to Valentin if they share the same bio dad. It’s be an interesting twist for both Peter and Valentin to deal with.
Valentin served as a mentor to young Heinrik, but their relationship has faced some bumps in the road since Peter came to Port Charles. The latest one involved Valentin punching Peter to make a quick getaway with Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez).
If General Hospital writers make Peter and Valentin siblings, they could really rev up this brother battle. After all, Peter and Valentin are both pretty sinister.
They’re actually a lot alike since they’re willing to do horrible things, but they have a soft spot for those they love, not unlike Faison! We could see them become formidable foes if a GH villain war’s brewing. It’d be interesting to see who was ruthless enough to win!
Whatever the case, Helena’s comeback should shake things up and bring some surprising revelations. It’ll be great to see Helena again, especially since she’s bound to bring new info along with her. Valentin and Peter may face more trouble than they bargained for!
